I don't know anything about alchohol though, but I'll give this a shot. This is a unique subject to base a map on, since the only map i've seen that focuses strictly on alchohol was a Sim-like map where you mix various ingredients to create different types of beer and then sell the beer.

IMHO, just because people won't use embedded modding in their maps doesn't you should prohibit it. I think that modding is useful, not as an important foundation for the map (which is what a lot of people seem to think is all that's possible), but as a finishing touch, or to ease the gameplay aspects. For example, changing a hero's graphics (Defiler = Gunner, anyone?
), or making spells more accessible (i.e. rather than telling a user to build a zealot to cast a spell, hovering the mouse over the zealot gives all required information, as well as a nifty icon).
