That's Deep Six. I think it is Legacy of Haean, but I am unsure about that. The download for Deep Blue is
here.
Sorry. Excuse my ignorance, please. The use of sprites still looks cool though. (Did you mean the one with the psi fields is deep six, or the installation one stated by blender is deep six?).

I dld the map, but I couldn't find the cave with the psi fields on it though

This is a cool topic, but maybe someone can answer a question for me. How might you use something like a scarab or a kakaru death animation in a map?
(I don't mean for what purpose, I mean how would you actually go about doing something like that?)
Like on Qpirate (i think that's his name)'s map which there are screenshots of on page 2 of this topic, how would you go about doing something like that?
I would like to start experimenting with things like that, if someone could tell me where I might start with it.

You have a reaver attacking a building or unit from a distance with a location in between the two. Then you make a trigger that when the scarab reaches the location on its way to attack the building/unit it's moved to your desired destination. It also helps to have hyper triggers to ensure you "catch" the scarab and to have a trigger constantly healing the building/unit.

Hmmm, ok... Thanks. Could you give me another example or two? I would like to have a few examples that I can start trying and experimenting with.
For instance, just a shot in the dark here but.. If I wanted to use a death effect somewhere, do i have a trigger that keep creating a unit on a location, then kill the unit and as it dies, move the unit? That's one thing I'd like to know.
How would I make a unit death as an effect?

Close, but you don't have to move the unit. Just create the unit at location and kill it. With hyper triggers the unit's death will be nearly instant.

What if you don't want the sound of the death?

What if you don't want the sound of the death?
You can't as far as I know. You could mask it with a custom sound.

Thanks, you've been helpful as always.

I'm pretty sure we can actually reduce the sound of death
Lethal had done that for a map, though I do not remember how :S
Look through the trigger, you should find it.

Nice ideas. Great topic.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
