For some whom may recognize the nick, I've been around a couple of years ago on SC2Mapster, participating a bit and attempting to do a little bit of something for StarCraft II. However, I've long before (for 9-10 years tops) known and been familiarized with most basics of StarCraft modding, from .DAT edits, IceCC, graphic conversions to a minimum, and recently I've made a comeback to this scenario, venturing in Firegraft, basic AI scripts and with a bit of interest in GPTP itself.
For the reasons - While indeed, the SC2 mod scenery isn't what we once expected out of back in 2010, I admit I was still willing to invest, make at least SOMETHING out of it. But then an electric discharge put a total halt to all that, as the video card and processor were damaged, and attempts to acquire a new, able machine were halted by financial limitations. Ever since then I've been living with a frankenstein of a computer, with most old hardware and just some new ones cobbled together.
While at first I hesitated returning to SC scenery (Which was already too advanced, though now slowly fading away), I took notice of Pr0nogo's Hydra dev videos, which were the encouraging point for me to return. He could do it, so why shouldn't I? lol
That's when I started planning my return, with a semi-Total Conversion project in progress (Semi because if I could, I'd change the building aspects of the factions and possibly add new resources for costs), a couple of 'alternate-ish' campaigns focused more on AI than adding new units, as well as some graphic conversions from similar isometric RTS themselves (My targets, as of now, are Submarine Titans, Kingdom Under Fire: A War of Heroes, and vehicle/ship/building assets from SunAge).
Guess that does it for an introduction. Better get started, and upload my first file already, to show I'm not just talk.
/edit Yes, the attached image is related to the project, all handmade by yours truly.

"School is useless. The importance of learning for social advance is a mysticism that must be confronted. I never liked studying."
"No one told you to be a poet, a musician, a painter or a moviemaker. If you don't have the money to make a movie or live out of poetry, sell your car, get to a loan shark, or explore your friends and parents. Between using public money to finance a work of art or let it be snatched by a hoarding politician, it's less culturally damaging to leave it for the hoarding politician."
