Hello, it's been a long time since I've been on SEN. You guys may remember me as DrAxXuS[T] from Clan TwIsTeD or DrAxXuS(U) from Clan UnKnOwN.
I'm nearing completion (approx. 90%) of my new sniper rpg, called AZTEC. It's a 192x192 jungle tileset scenario that's jam packed with 4 separate missions and 7 unique bosses.
I need dedicated testers (preferably that enjoy playing long rpg's) to complete the map. If any of you are up for the task, you can reach me here by writing me a note with your contact information.
I can be found on ])$@useast and NyM)uNkNowN@useast. Thanks and look forward to playing.

I'll be posting a production topic once I've consolidated all the information. For now, I'm uncomfortable releasing it publicly because I should be present for testing in it's current state, and it is unprotected.
The entire map will take approximately 3 hours to complete. The end of the map is incomplete though. I am pulling everything together in missions 1-3 before I begin to trigger the final areas.
The terrain is virtually complete. I'm still making aesthetical tweaks here and there.
I'll be glad to show it to you both. Hopefully without glitches. :-)

Typically in the past, we'd close threads like this and ask that you look for testers either in your production topic or on the Shoutbox. So I highly recommend creating that production topic.

Yeah once you post your map on SEN it basically can't be stolen anymore. The community will always know it's your map. I might even help you test once in a while but I'm on European timezone so I'm not sure if we're compatible.

I'm going to make a production topic. I've just been focusing my time on the creation of the map over the fancy topic, which I will be posting later on. I guess I'll produce a short one before I log off. Here is a short video clip displaying the gameplay in the first area of AZTEC to start it off.

I just don't want to mass release it yet. I am running a prize pool for testers and the integrity of that competition would be degraded by doing so. I also feel that I really need to proactively be apart of the testings instead of trying to decipher the horde of posts involving triggerrors, lol. It'll be a miracle if I tie it all together and get what I actually hoped to achieve out of the project.

Most desync's result from using something extended (EUDs (for details see: EUD Sync), extended units/players, disabled units), certain doodad/doodad based sprites can also cause desyncs under some circumstances (found this once with jungle tree tops (pure sprite #27) on map load).
I used enabled civ sprites to stack civs at the store. Could that be the issue?
I looked up all the units sprites and I haven't used pure sprite #27. I have, however, used #'s 127, 21, 22, 245, 30, 303, 308, 321, 38, 393, 386, 51, 53, 54, 55, 60, and 15. Any of those known to cause them?
Dunno, best to try removing stuff that's suspect (like sprites) and see if that helps - you can usually narrow it down by asking yourself when it occurs (just after game starts or somewhere in the middle) and what events happen just before the desync.
It's at the beginning, but not immediately. I think it's the enabled civilian sprites. I guess it will be something I'll have to live with...
Thanks, jj.
EDIT: Next question (and sorry for the double post)
I was reading something the other day about "the best" black unit color #, but I can't seem to find the topic where I read it and I don't specifically remember which # it was.
Which # is best for black?

Vrael -- It is, and I could definitely use a company with a commitment to flexibility, quality, and customer satisfaction to provide effective solutions to dampness and humidity in my urban environment.
Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?
