Haylol, everyone.
In DatEdit, under the Units tab and under the StarEdit sub-tab, you can check a few boxes that would lead one to believe that the unit can be utilised in location-related triggers like 'create unit' and 'create unit with properties'. In the past, I haven't been able to make this work with unspawnable units like Aldaris and Raszagal. Is it possible to make these units spawn by checking some combination of these boxes? Is it possible at all?
Thanks.
Those are for unit listings in the StarEdit setting dialogs and trigger dialogs, but I'm not sure if they effect starcraft in-game... I recall there being something, but I don't remember.

IIRC it is possible. I don't remember what you need to check though.
Hurray for un-knowledge.
I'll tinker around, I suppose, but I doubt I'll find what I'm looking for.
I believe I saw a thread about it here via google search..... I know that's not of much use but i remember searching for something along the lines of "why the hell won't aldaris spawn" so perhaps try searching for aldaris/mengsk/raszagal on google with site: www.staredit.net
hopefully that will find what you need.
I could be completely wrong , it could have been on a different site altogether but the guy had screenshots of what to check and a program link to edit the files themselves.... good luck sir
None.
on google with site: www.staredit.net
Just for clarity, it's site:staredit.net not site: staredit.net
Not having the space matters, good sir. If you have the space in there it will search two different terms "site:" and "staredit.net" instead of searching the site "staredit.net," which is your desired goal.

Not sure if this is answered yet but I think unchecking the hero tab will do the job.
