I kinda like the old edit button better.
The new one seems a big and out of place, since all the other buttons are rounded.
With cecil's work ethic... shit man ... stuff's gonna get done!? Impossible!
This is the kind of stuff I was talking about. Within the first day Cecil has already changed something and has a place to write down his accomplishments. It's like he's challenging himself.
THIS IS MY 1000TH POST ON SEN YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

It's easy on the first day. It's hard on the hundredth.
None.
Not to mention any of us can upload images, no coding necessary.

As nice as it is of Cecil to do this, I wouldn't grant endless praise until he does something. Questionable aesthetic changes don't count. Praise too much, and real accomplishments won't feel so awesome. ;o
Like fixing the errors...

Yeah uploading images is no big deal

Can we not just fix something meaningful? Like why people cannot stay logged on, or the numerous MySQL errors? Or a longer list of recently posted in topics? A way to bookmark a thread so that you receive a notification when there are unread posts with in it?
And why do we still have Null? We all know the SC2Mapster Mapmaster Semen Network was a joke, but somethings you just don't joke about...
Edit: I prefer the old buttons too. But meh. Change is change, keep at it. Maybe something good will happen

We have an "Other" because without it, SEN can't stand on its own two legs. Without the residual community, SEN is just another minor mapping website, and there's little reason for people to come here over larger websites like Mapster.
Oh, and because admins will be bored as hell without it.

I haven't heard of the "people can't stay logged on" bug after it was fixed a while ago. I have had no issue myself, and haven't had to log in since February.
The mysql errors are an issue with our server, not SEN. That would be an issue only IP can fix.
A longer list is easy to do.
We used to have a feature that let you "bookmark" threads, but I don't remember why it was removed.
We have a Null because there are a ton of topics that don't fit in SD, LD, or the Tech/Art/Games forums. Every community has an off-topic discussion, and I don't see how Null affects us in any way. I have yet to hear of someone leaving SEN because of Null.

Yeah, as far as I can tell the logon bug was fixed. I experienced it for a while and it was annoying as hell, but it mysteriously vanished.
Is there any way of getting hold of IP to get him to get hold of the server people?
Also, maybe it's time to switch to bog-standard Invision or PhpBB and just skin it. SEN is like a creaking old edifice. An accumulation of code and fixes sitting on top of an apparently unstable base. It is much better than v4?
None.

I doubt I'm the only person with IP's msn, but if you like I can ask him.

He nevers answers back.
I'm not even sure he reads the messages.

This is probably skin dependent. I'm on maplantis at the moment and they look really nice with it. They are also much more recognizable.
But there's a missing button: When you multiquote it turns into a grey version of a round button instead of a grey new one.

We're discussing this, but this also requires IP since he pays for the site and coded SEN from scratch. If he's reluctant to give up SEN, he may be reluctant to stop using his code.

The new buttons look horrid and out of place.
Make deleting and/or organizing pms a lot easier, like, for example, have each pm received from one person be grouped into a folder under that person's name, with the date of the most recent pm received.
None.
Along with PMs, could we possibly have a "next" and "previous" button to sift through them sometime in the future? I hate having to view a PM, go back to my inbox, and repeat when I have like 5 PMs.
EDIT: Just realized that this is mostly bug-related. I guess my suggestion doesn't really relate, but it's something that would make viewing PMs a lot easier. ;o
