I need to get some data for my statistics class on people's average heart rate. If you're between the ages of 13 and 20 then take your pulse and count how many times your heart beats in one minute. Do it three times and post your numbers.
None.
174 times. I just ran up 6 flights of stairs.

Thanks for the help... not.
Resting heart rate taken three times please.
None.
Age 17
Trial 1: 54
Trial 2: 59
Trial 3: 60
I was just really relaxed when I started trial 1, but soon I became a little tense from pressing my fingers on my neck vain. The anatomy of the inside of humans just grosses me out. It is in fact the only thing that grosses me out.
None.
I think it would help for you to define resting heart rate. Some people take resting heart as when in a seated position. Others consider it resting when you have been laying down. (In either position for at least a couple minutes).
Age: 14
I only timed for 30 seconds, then multiplied my answer by 2.
Laying Down:

... damn, I went to feel my pulse in a bunch of different places, but couldn't find it.
My brother and I seem to have a
really low blood pressure.

Lol. That's why you measure your pulse via your wrist and not your neck.

It is all the same, I just do not like touching my vains. I have a lot of them that bulge on my arms..

Putting pressure on your neck vein inhibits bloodflow to your brain and your body will try to compensate somewhat by increasing the workload on your heart. So it's not all the same.

I have a light case of influenza, and that definitely raises it. In my Health class, we had to take it three times (standing, sitting, laying down), and at that point I was extremely healthy. My heart rate was something like 40/34/30
