Just Here For The Pie

11:30ish [Central Time]
I am destroyed..

I was sitting at my desk playing games on my computer with my window next to me open to get some air in my room.
I then heard the most unruly, shocking noise that I have ever heard...
I swear it was the sound of a cat crying so I'm thinking that my brother managed to chase down and tackle/capture one of our cats that ran away two days ago.

I dashed downstairs to find my brother in the kitchen looking flabbergasted at me...
Something attacked and, more then likely, killed our cat.
However that wasn't the worst part of it...

As it turns out, one of our other cats just got out not half and hour prior to the shriek.

Do you guys have the body of that killed cat?

Like, can you tell what killed it? Was it a dog or something? My grandparents live in Canada and their cat got killed by a grizzle bear.

I plan to look for it tomorrow. I wanted to check soon after the scream, but my brother say it would be no use.
After all, there's a corn field in our backyard. I believe that it was probably a coyote that killed him.

I'm sorry you lost your cat :( It always sucks to lose a pet.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

By the time my cat died, she hadn't gone outside in over two years, and lost the ability to use her front left paw. Eighteen is too damn old for a cat.

We managed to find the one that got out 30 minutes before the shriek. He's fine..

But the one that got out first is... :crybaby:

I might be taking this too harshly, but it is sad to me..

Sorry to hear your cat died. Do you plan to bury him and put flowers on the grave?

I remember when my first dog died, it was rough. But life goes on. You won't be shaken up over this forever. Just feel lucky that you got to know this kitty during his lifetime and always remember.

Sorry for your loss.

My cat lived to 19, and didn't show any signs of aging until about 19 and six months. Then he got deathly sick in a day.

My aunt's cat was 21, but was an indoor cat. I think indoor cats tend to live much longer, so the fact that my cat lived that long was crazy.

A coyote got into the kitchen and killed your cat or was your cat outside somewhere?

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
