I use 2 + my arm. It has terrible side effects if I wake up in the middle of the night. My arm will have been cut off from normal circulation so it is COMPLETELY dead. It's kinda scary, kinda cool.

Do you put your arm between the two? That's what I do. And yeah, that DOES suck.
Varies from 1-2, depending on how tired I am when I go to bed, if I am tired enough I wont remove a pillow from where I am sleeping, consequentially my neck feels like shit the next day.

2. I find that I sleep best if I transfer from the huge mattress pillow to the soft oh my gosh its like a freaking kitten its so soft pillow every few days. But yeah that's a pretty good idea to switch from to the warm pillow to the soft and then back again pillow.
Oh yeah and there's the pillow fight pillow but generally i dont sleep with it.
