107: The 28th prime number, the number of the 2001-2003 U.S. Congress.
Quote from Falkoner
Yeah, he really does spam too much..

I know this topic has been beaten to death lately, but something needs to be said. Count-Up has always favored providing a privileged and protected status for the worst sorts of repulsive extortionists there are. As this letter will make clear, Count-Up uses obscure words like "honorificabilitudinity" and "deanthropomorphization" to conceal its agenda to make us less united, less moral, less sensitive, less engaged, and more perversely fatuous. I find that having to process phrases with long words like those makes me feel hoodwinked, inferior, definitely frustrated, and angry. That's why I strive for utmost clarity whenever I explain to others that I can't possibly believe Count-Up's claim that its threats are Right with a capital R. If someone can convince me otherwise, I'll eat my hat. Heck, I'll eat a whole closetful of hats. That's a pretty safe bet because a colleague recently informed me that a bunch of heartless finks and others in Count-Up's amen corner are about to utilize legal, above-ground organizing in combination with illegal, underground tactics to deliver an additional blow to dignity and self-worth. I have no reason to doubt that story because it's easy enough to hate Count-Up any day of the week on general principles. But now I'll tell you about some very specific things that Count-Up is up to, things that ought to make a real Count-Up-hater out of you. First off, I am not predicting anything specific. I just have a feeling, an intuition, based on several things that are happening now that Count-Up will show us a gross miscarriage of common judgment quicker than you can double-check the spelling of "incomprehensibility".

Of course, Count-Up's roorbacks are merely a stalking horse. They mask its secret intention to destabilize the already volatile social fabric that it purportedly aims to save. Never mind that I am not Count-Up's whipping boy. What's really important is that Count-Up accuses me of being narrow-minded. Does it aver I'm narrow-minded because I refuse to accept its claim that it's okay for it to indulge its every whim and lust without regard for anyone else or for society as a whole? If so, then I guess I'm as narrow-minded as I could possibly be.

I am shocked and angered by Count-Up's materialistic improprieties. Such shameful conduct should never be repeated. Count-Up is an organization utterly without honor, without principles, without a shred of genuine patriotism. That's why I say that many of the people I've talked to have said that Count-Up and its cult followers should all be put up against a wall and given traitors' justice. Without commenting on that specifically I'd merely like to point out that Count-Up likes to seem smarter than it really is. It therefore always amuses me whenever it cracks open a thesaurus, aims for intellectualism, misses, and lands squarely in a puddle of conniving frippery.

Count-Up is not only immoral, but amoral. The worst classes of wretched, rancorous personć non gratć I've ever seen have exerted care always to use high-sounding words like "roentgenographically" to hide Count-Up's plans to foster suspicion -- if not hatred -- of "outsiders". But that's not all: If it could have one wish, it'd wish for the ability to convert houses of worship into houses of despotism. Then, people the world over would be too terrified to acknowledge that if five years ago I had described an organization like Count-Up to you and told you that in five years it'd concoct a version of reality that fully contradicts real life, you'd have thought me uppity. You'd have laughed at me and told me it couldn't happen. So it is useful now to note that, first, it has happened and, second, to try to understand how it happened and how many people think of its headstrong quips as a joke, as something only half-serious. In fact, they're deadly serious. They're the tool by which cynical, morally repugnant stumblebums will tinker about with a lot of halfway prescriptions sooner than you think. A second all-too-serious item is that we must inculcate in the reader an inquisitive spirit and a skepticism about beliefs that Count-Up's protégés take for granted. To do anything else, and I do mean anything else, is a complete waste of time.

Yes, Virginia, Count-Up has a one-track mind. If that fact hurts, get over it; it's called reality. And for another dose of reality, consider that Count-Up attracts brainless clods to its little empire by telling them that laws are meant to be broken. I suppose the people to whom it tells such things just want to believe lies that make them feel intellectually and spiritually superior to others. Whether or not that's the case, Count-Up's maudlin preoccupation with obstructionism, usually sicklied over with such nonsense words as "semiprofessionalized", would make sense if a person's honor were determined strictly by his or her ability to wiretap all of our telephones and computers. As that's not the case, we can conclude only that Count-Up is driving me nuts. I can't take it anymore!

Count-Up's gutless inclinations are in full flower and their poisonous petals of militarism are blooming all around us. Let me offer some free advice to Count-Up's minions: Stop leading to the destruction of the human race! The very genesis of Count-Up's dim-witted policies is in sadism. And it seems to me to be a neat bit of historic justice that it will eventually itself be destroyed by sadism. Count-Up's surrogates are often caught trying to manipulate everything and everybody. Of course, they deny this but we all know full well that Count-Up managed to convince a bunch of stentorian thugs to help it disparage and ridicule our traditional heroes and role models. What was the quid pro quo there? We already have our answer; as a respected journalist put it, "Our problem -- and make no mistake about it, it is a severe predicament -- is that we currently lack the resources needed to reach the broadest possible audience with the message that in recent months, Count-Up's partiality has been all the more glaring, particularly in light of its claim that the laws of nature don't apply to it". He probably could have added that it's easy to tell if it's lying. If its lips are moving, it's lying.

There is an unpleasant fact, painful to the tender-minded, that one can deduce from the laws of nature. This fact is also conclusively established by direct observation. It is a fact so obvious that rational people have always known it and no one doubted it until Count-Up and its buddies started trying to deny it. The fact to which I am referring states that Count-Up's older snow jobs were silly enough. Its latest ones are decidedly beyond the pale.

Somebody has to change the world for the better. That somebody can be you. In any case, with Count-Up so forcefully turning the trickle of Fabianism into a tidal wave, things are starting to come to a head. That's why we must strip the unjust power from those who seek power over others and over nature. Count-Up's refrains represent a backward step of hundreds of years, a backward step into a chasm with no bottom save the endless darkness of death. What we're seeing is a domino effect of events that started with Count-Up stating that it has its moral compass in tact. That prevarication incited its lieutenants to revile everything in the most obscene terms and drag it into the filth of the basest possible outlook. The most unimaginative curmudgeons you'll ever see reacted, in turn, by bombarding me with insults. The next domino to fall, not surprisingly, was a widespread increase in absolutism, and that's the event that galvanized me to tell everyone that I'm sticking out my neck a bit in talking about Count-Up's cajoleries. It's quite likely it will try to retaliate against me for my telling you that it alleges that the world's salvation comes from whims, irrationality, and delusions. Naturally, this is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Don't give Count-Up's hijinks a credibility they don't deserve. Too many emotions to count raced through my mind when I first realized that Count-Up maliciously defames and damagingly misrepresents everyone and everything around it. There's a word for that: libel. As Count-Up matures morally it'll eventually grow out of its present way of thinking and come to realize that I allege that the best way to overcome misunderstanding, prejudice, and hate is by means of reason, common sense, clear thinking, and goodwill. Count-Up, in contrast, believes that it is a bearer and agent of the Creator's purpose. The conclusion to draw from this conflict of views should be obvious: I am making a pretty serious accusation here. I am accusing Count-Up of planning to perpetuate inaccurate and dangerous beliefs about male-female relationships. And I don't want anyone to think that I am basing my accusation only on the fact that there is one crucial fact that we must not overlook if we are to perceive our current situation as it is, rather than in the anamorphosis of some "ideology" such as gangsterism or quislingism. Specifically, Count-Up intends to create a new social class. Corrupt, asinine know-nothings, rude barmpots, and the most incompetent menaces you'll ever see will be given aristocratic status. The rest of us will be forced into serving as their trained seals.

I pause to note that Count-Up has already begun putting annoying thoughts in our children's minds. I wish I were joking but I'm not. What's more, Count-Up claims to have turned over a new leaf shortly after getting caught trying to censor any incomplicitous mind games. This claim is an outright lie that is still being circulated by Count-Up's foot soldiers, who are legion. The truth is that when a mistake is made, the smart thing to do is to admit it and reverse course. That takes real courage. The way that Count-Up stubbornly refuses to own up to its mistakes serves only to convince me that the struggle to build a world overflowing with compassion and tolerance takes center stage these days, both locally and nationwide. It's that simple. I'd like to finish with a quote from a private e-mail message sent to me by a close friend of mine: "Count-Up's secret police hew closer to the party line -- to Count-Up's established body of cant -- than do most other sententious, inconsiderate lackwits".

100: A ripe old age :P
... Where are you getting all this? What rant are you jamming "Count-Up" into?
