What happens when some unsuspecting person moves in and knocks down walls?
"Oh, look at all these... Capsule things..."
*opens*
2 months later
"Yeah... The doctor says I have multiple unexplained inoperable tumors..."

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I'm willing to believe this 100% BS The first post is misleading, the penny is not producing the power, the P-238 is.

I am wondering how these would be able to be stopped heating your house, or how fast these heating methods would actually heat your house. Overall, it's highly inefficient.

Lead walls :}
That's it!

We start constructing houses with 6-12 inches thick walls on each side and fill in the gaps with radioactive decay. To avoid lead poisoning we would then have to put wood or whatever around all the lead.

Pro: No energy bills
Extremely thick walls would allow me to blast my music at full volume and not annoy anybody else in the house.

Con: Expensive to build
You would have to replace all the radioactive stuff every 80ish years.
It your house lights on fire, anyone within 1 mile of your house is screwedz0rz

It would cost more to actually install those than it would be to just buy from your power plant. It would also be a pain to get the actual plutonium/uranium (you little kim jong il) Then you have to worry about the goverment hovering over you and of course the increased risk of cancer.

👻 👾 👽 💪

If your house lit on fire, just make sure the lead wont leak the stuff. D'oh. Totally forgot that lead melts really easily.

Great Idea! If someone tries to kill you, you wait inside peacefully, as you know lead will kill them!
Anyways

1 Watt of heat energy isn't that much. However, consider this:
1 penny sized plutonium by-product = 1 Watt
2 penny sized plutonium by-product = 2 Watt (about the size of a quarter).
Stack 1000 penny sized plutonium rods I suppose and you get 1000 Watts of heat energy, and therefore can power the greatest things like toaster ovens and Moose Killing Devices of MKDs.

Problem solved!

You will probably have to put some small channels for the heat to go trough to get past the isolation.

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value
[2024-5-06. : 5:01 am]
Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
