I'm looking for some new dubstep to listen to. I hate brostep. I like chill/liquid dubstep, stuff with melodies. Vocals are nice, but not necessary. Here's some examples of what I like:

Let me show you how to hump without making love.

Anyone from Monstercat Media Network is good, which Ephixa is a part of.

wtf jack, how could you possibly have listened to all those through in 13 minutes. It takes some getting into.

I skipped forward to see if they improved. They didn't.

You need to expand your musical taste, Jack. Dubstep isn't meant to include melody (nor is it really a genre, since dubstep is the technique of using bass drops -- and you don't name a genre after a technique, else there would be 'Blast Beat Metal' and 'Power Chord Rock').

There's plenty of better electronica to listen to than dubstep anyways.

Quote from Wikipedia
Dubstep (/ˈdʌbstɛp/) is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South London, United Kingdom. Its overall sound has been described as "tightly coiled productions with overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals"

There is literally no merit to giving instrumental techniques their own genre. Wikipedia also labels Cattle Decapitation as 'grindcore' (which doesn't exist for similar reasons) and Pantera as 'thrash metal', both of which are untrue. Wikipedia has no merit when it comes to serious musical theory and genre discussions.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Quote from Jack
I wouldn't really call this one dubstep, but if you're looking for stuff similar to it you might want to check out a group called "The Album Leaf."

And yet the wikipedia article has 114 references and cites. Remember, Wikipedia is strictly against Original Research. The page has even reached Good Article status, so clearly many wikipedia editors disagree with you on this subject.

Regardless of whether you're right or wrong (and you're wrong) the type of electronic music which is commonly called liquid dubstep which features a slow beat, heavy bass, and has good melodies (to distinguish it from brostep) is the kind of music I'm looking for. I have no interest in you coming into my thread and hijacking it to start a pointless argument about genres which have already been discussed and defined elsewhere, in excruciating detail. So please, if you are not going to contribute any music which may potentially fit my tastes, leave this thread.

@DevliN, not really my taste sorry. A couple of the tracks I listened to were OK but I didn't really enjoy them that much.

The Alicia one is not too bad, but I've already heard it and don't really enjoy it much. Second one was boring :/

Maybe a bit too much for your taste(and not necessarily dub), but Drink The Sea is a great album by The Glitch Mob. Might like Drive it Like you Stole it, or Fortune Days.

And maybe try these(not all dub, but close or good):

seems you already know of Blackmill, but if you haven't heard this:

EDIT:
Found this and though just maybe?
