You fail to realize that sunfire cape is used for the unique passive and the armor. You don't get a sunfire cape when you want HP. Same with the Force of Nature, it gives you MR, which is good on Morde, I agree there. I'm saying HP/HP Regen is a terrible stat for morde, something he he does not need. And just because random people think a build is good doesn't mean it's actually good, how many of those approvals are from actual competitive lol players? I still think AP is a stronger stat now, especially with the recent AP buffs and shield nerfs.

Since Caitlyn came out yesterday, Morde is even more of a pain in the ass to play (when you lane vs her)

Morde was/is my first serious champion that I've been playing with. I've had only 1 (out of the 50 or so I've played with him) game where I got all my items that I wanted (had 5k hp, not including shield and health regen, and his ult) and I had pretty good AP. The match took for-fucking-ever.

Trinity Force on GP is amazing, sheen gives you early damage more reliable than a crit, and then it builds into trinity force, which gives GP almost everything he needs. :P

Morde's shield doesn't last forever. IMO HP>MR/AD early game. But once you have a good amount of HP its good to buy MR/AD. Morde is an easy champ to play anyway so no matter how you build him he rapes.

@poison: that isn't true about recipe items, thats why people stack doran's items early game, because they are so cost efficient for the stats, but then sell them later for more exspensive and useful items late game

btw how do the new ap items make ap characters more viable? hourglass = zhonyas, and the hat just offers a hell load of AP, which isn't new at all. Are people just saying AP characters are more viable because of how OP the hat is? (b/c it gives like 1 bagillion AP)

Stack doran's items? Every single game. Or just watch a live stream of someone who actually knows shit about LoL. Good players stack doran's blades the most but I've seen doran's rings stacked a lot. If I play any ranged dps (MF) I usually get 3-4 dorans blades before getting IE.

Only viable stacking is Doran's Blade on ranged carries, that's about it. It makes AP characters viable because armor and AP have never been on the same item before until now, not sure what you're trying to argue here Raccoon.

Coon, I rarely play anything that benefits from Dorans items more than other cheap starter items. Shen is one exception, but he's tanky enough I don't bother with the shield.
