NIGHT FIVE

Roy found himself trapped in a corner in his own home. A heretic was standing in his doorway with sword in hand. Roy was unarmed, but he didn't afraid of anything. Charging at the intruder, Roy was smiling. The heretic was smiling as well, this was going to be his first assassination in the name of the revolution, and he was pretty excited about it.

I can't believe this guy is just running at me like an idiot.

The intruder swung his sword, but Roy had already pro-dodged by diving to the ground. Roy was on his back and wasted no time springing up for a roundhouse kick to the intruder's face.

The heretic side-stepped Roy's attack and replied with a fatal slash across the chest. Roy slowly fell to the ground.

"Why did you target me there?" asked the heretic.

"Well, the mandible is easy to shatter if you hit it the right way." Those were Roy's last words as he face planted the floor.

Meanwhile, another heretic was perched high above the commoners with a crossbow and three bolts. He saw his two targets down below and took aim.

"This is for resisting change," he said as he sent a bolt right through Tempz's heart.

"And THIS is for killing my comrade in battle," he yelled now as a second bolt pierced the back of ImagoDeo's skull.

He fired one last shot for good measure, then made his way back to the hide out while the sun was just starting to appear on the horizon.
