It'll be same day, same hour, every week.
I'll post a new Thread for the Issue #3 tomorrow.

Why do you call them "Issues?"

I thought Issue was like... a number?
For example, a magazine's issue #3 would be the third publication of the magazine.
Am I using the wrong word? :><:

An Issue is something you issue, or give out as it were. It doesn't really make sense in this case.

Red classic.

Exactly. For some reason I assumed payne used it to mean that the first SC2 map night caused issues, so this would be issue #2 (as if he was being sarcastic). I'd say you just stick with Map Night #3, 4, 5 etc.

Aww, fail. :><:
So, Jack, you say I have to physically distribute something to call it an issue?

Traditionally that would be correct. That was from a time prior to the internet's existence, however.

I will be coming to map night this Saturday, unless something happens.

It looks like the next Map Night is going to rock! :sly:

Reminder: Try to get an Alpha state of your in-production maps. We run map-tests during the Map Night as well, and the comments are always extremely useful to the map-maker!
I'll personally try to pull-out that Dodge Race map and prettyfy my Stalk Arena map. :awesome:

How could you guys not play Sentry Scramble? It's like PACMAN, but with Sentries who can blink and be awesome with forcefields. :awesome: Maybe I'll come, but school is starting to get tough lately. You should maybe try Island Defense, that map is like Cat and Mouse on steroids, and there is also this one racing game I played with my friends, I think it was Mario Kart, was awesome, but laggy. Also, why not play Yoshi's special forces, that game is pretty rad assuming he updates it soon. (Even though it doesn't need any more popularity. :awesome:)

edit: Someone also needs to make an awesome diplomacy map, I'm dying to play some epic games on there, comon Diplo Infinity III. :D

- Sentry Scramble is on the list of the games I intended to play. But 6 hours still wasn't enough to play all those maps. :><:
- Island Defense sucks imo and it screws the resource display, afair.
- That map is named "SC Rally" and it sucks.
- mikelat's Special Force sucks in my opinion (no offence. :P)

Still, since it looks like we'll be more than 6 once again, nothing's preventing us from creating 2 teams to play individually. ;)

P.S. This thread is now the "official" Map Nights thread. :awesome:

Not sure how you can say that Island Defense sucks, it's basically Cat and Mouse, but with different types of cats and mouses. :awesome: Based on it's popularity, thousands of people can't be wrong. I think you're just a big hater of things because Yoshi's Special Forces is basically just like a Special Forces, unless you hated that too. What about Doodad Hunt? I thought that game was epic, but coming from Payne, it's probably the devil. :hurr:

:payne:

Cat and Mouse are bad maps, imo.
Do you really think Nexus Wars is a good map? (Based on the fact that you believe that the popularity system determines maps' quality)
mikelat's Special Forces is still impressing me in the sense that I see exactly no replay value, but it's still played. :/
Doodad Hunt is extremely fun, but the WASD lag makes it kind of annoying, and the fact that there is no rematch option is really gay.

You should try the new version, payne. But thank you for your kind feedback.

I don't think you're using "impressing" correctly, payne, since you clearly don't seem to be impressed by Mike's map.

He's using it fine, he's impressed by the popularity of a map with seemingly no replay value (not that I agree) though in this case I think he's just being ignorant because special forces derives it's replay value the same way hack and slash RPGs do: by killing a lot of crap in different unique ways. I think you should try being a little open to maps that you think "suck" Payne.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Ah, I see. I guess it was the structure of that sentence that threw me off.

Also, in past Map Nights I seem to recall people playing whatever they want rather than a set list of maps. So I agree that if people want to play Special Forces, you should be open to that.
