Mineral chunks are being used for minerals, so it wont work unless you consider yourself a mineral

EDIT: Well, actually I think the old graphics fit really well. Not too simple (not as bars at least) nor too detailed and very recognizable (even with their minimal colors).

Units were considered a long while ago, but there's really no way to tell rank based on them. We'd need something that someone totally new to the site would understand, like the bars.

I've never liked these current icons.

these are rather bad, nude, for one: look at them: same color and tiny. It's hard to realize what one is... and they aren't looking really good either tbh.

I'll add transparency later, if y'all want to use 'em.

Nude, they are really tiny. If you crop their feet to make it bigger and use sprites of a pose other than showing their backs then it could look better

I liked that. Just lacks some shadow/bevel, or maybe dirtier outlines.

Please no. Either the shape of the object changes through the ranks or the color. Not both. It looked nice at first with devils stuff but then it looked stupid when it was actually implemented.

Try this. Get a 30 pixel soft brush and get a marquee of the image itself (not the box the yellow bar thing) and in a new layer brush the top left part then in another layer brush the top right. The layer that was brushed in the top left, set it to Darken or multiply and the one used for the bottom right set it to screen or lighten. Or vice verse if the "lighting" doesn't come out right. Also with a one pixel pencil tool you can mke whit pixels along parts of the border to uh.... wlel I don't know how to explain it but Thats what I did with the ones I posted. If you'd like I could do that "effect".

MZ, your Photoshop terms confound me. I drew those in Paint by hand and was planning to alpha-mask them in GIMP.
