ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

I tend to leave out unnecessary information and only ask specific questions relevant to my goals. Perhaps I should change my ways so that people who think they are intelligent will answer my simple questions rather than throw out pointless insults or comment on something other than what I asked. Glad you got a laugh though, because I laugh at everything you say, unless you've said it before.

But why the hell can't the same green that I see on the skin and forum be used in those contact buttons. :-_-:
my point exactly, except in the form of a question, not a statement, and for all colors.

tileable banner background for you.

I think where the time a post was written.. that bar or w/e should have another bar under it, but at a lighter color. I tried doing an example, but I'm not so good with ubuntu's drawing program.

Awful idea, last thing this skin needs is useless lines running across it.

Back* from the grave

Can MZ provide the online icon, minus the text, and the font used for it (aka backgrond and font)? I noticed something that I can't describe well enough to explain.

Jul 22 2010, 3:25 am MadZombie Post #47

Balls. Sorry I didn't save the PSD. The font is Constantia if I'm not mistaken. I don't know if this will answer whatever it is you wanted to know but I apply a sharpen filter before saving the image. I do it for almost anything. I just had a feeling that might have been it.

Well crap. Background would've been nice. Oh well, I'll manage. Uhm, real quick: compression is your friend. Online.png = 4,584 bytes, can be compressed to 1,928 bytes, 57.94% compression...

Jul 22 2010, 3:40 am MadZombie Post #49

Not to sound like a jerk but it wasn't my priority. It's not my bandwidth. If they really wanted to save the extra kb's they could of done it themselves. It's all as is ;]

Is that all you got?

I was going to tell you to save the psd so we could make other colors from it. Instead I assumed you'd save it.

Meh. Did my best, turns out MZ used Arial 12 instead of Constantia. Tell me things I could fix, like I just noticed that his fades, while mine desaturates.

EDIT: The one below should mesh better with MZ's fade. Redid the "x" as well, I like the older one better now, but filesize dropped as a little bonus. Not like it matters much, just a couple hundred bytes. Gonna redo the "x" to match the first, it looks better than my hand-drawn BS.

EDIT 2: Alright, now the X is fine, and the gradient is more noticeable. Lemme know what you guys think.

Woops, forgot to sharpen and mess the pixels up  Anyways, MZ should probably get on making a banned png.

MadZombie's. Of yours, either the first, or the second with stuff added in to fill some of the "empty" space.

And how are any of these better than the current ones? The current ones just need to be a bit darker and more saturated and they'd look fine.

But to answer your question, the 2nd set is less bad than the first.
And no, SEN will not become a comic-y caricature of your sigs, so you can as well cut the crap right now.

I think they're better, because they're nice solid colors without random crap in them and they actually fit the rest of the forum.

Like what are those lines in the corner? I don't even know what that's supposed to do for the look of the button
But what's worse is the fact that lines on the contact button aren't even consistent in look with the online button

They just look half-assed and poorly executed
