I checked attachments, and Poison has never attached a video showing PMs, only Olimar...

Edit: They can easily be faked.

Edit 2: Don't ban me from the game because I posted a video. I am not a confuser since the confuser does not exist. That whole PM was fake and it was only to prove that just because someone makes a video does not mean that it is real.

Alright, so I went through all the posts to try to deduce who is mafia. These are the criteria I used.

1) Players who have only posted once, just to vote.
2) Players whose one vote went with a bandwagon.

These are all indicators of someone attempting to draw as little attention to themselves as possible. The list is:

These players are more likely than others to be mafia. To show the biggest threats among them, I'll filter the list with another criteria.

3) Players from the previous list who made their one post as concise as possible.

These are the players with the highest probability of being mafia, using actual facts and behavioral analysis.

I'm betting Azrael is either fool or mafia.

Could he be a detective / cop / tracker?

Yeah, yours is obvious fake because it doesn't include the entire screen, and it takes very little time (3 frames, roughly 1/6^th a second) to go to your PM, which doesn't load in increments, like any page that displays that fast does.

I gave plenty of facts to back it up. It's the most solid thing to go on that anyone's posted yet. Fuck, the best "clues" I've seen so far are "omg there was blood" and "the night is dark lul". This is actually substantial information based on the behavior usually displayed by mafia.

The only reason you would have to try to argue about it or turn it back on me is if you're mafia.

Which is why I didn't say "these are all definitely mafia". Some probably aren't. I said they have a high probability of being mafia, which is true.

But can we trust you, Az? It is quite difficult for the mafia to appear emotionally invested in IDing their compatriots over a long period of time, and yet you appear very intent on and interested in identifying the mafia using any and all means available, including the limited behavioral analysis one can conduct over the Internet.

On the one hand, you could simply be a highly-motivated townie. Perhaps you have been very deeply immersed, and the objective has become extremely important to you. Or maybe you just love these kinds of games -- the psychological/social kind -- and that is the result of your motivation and actions.

On the other hand, you could be a brilliant mafia, who knows exactly how a motivated townie would act and is mimicking such behavior. For you and poison have been leading the pack -- you were doing so even before you were actually in the game. You and he are the towniest of the townies.

I will follow you, but know that I do not trust you completely.

EDIT: @Poison: If I had to, I could save the HTML for a PM page, and edit a message in. To fake a slow-loading page, I could then write another page. This page would use JavaScript to load the PM page in an IFRAME and read its HTML. It would basically grab chunks of the fake PM page's HTML and write those chunks to the screen using predefined time delays with a small random factor. Essentially, the JS would be "loading" the faked PM page from another file -- with deliberate slowness.

In other words, someone could damn well fake a PM, and very convincingly, too, given sufficient knowledge. Hell, I'm sure there are even easier methods than mine.

None of the information I posted was subjective. There's nothing to trust or not trust. The list of names has a high probability of being mafia.

So if we post too much does that make us a joker... or do post the facts to make us look confident, and we show all our thoughts so that people we have the fear instilled into them into not voting?
