played some games after a long time of not playing.

Dev + starting with boots = starting with decay, at lvl 1, chasing fools down while decaying them, getting lvl 1 double kills on noobs, tping to next lane, repeating process, and utter ownage.

im also getting pretty good at blinking heroes, how they make some more :D

They've been getting bitched at because HoN has a huge percentage of heroes with blinks or pseudo blinks compared to DotA. So besides Puck, I doubt there will be any more for a while.

I really want Puck, Dark Seer, NA, though and I don't even play DotA. =o

First time as succubus, and got 9/4/17 with 124 CK and 23 CD, and got bitched at because I was "never in the fight". It was a long game though, and a good one.

Blasphemy! I almost never afk for long periods of time on HoN. The one time I did I was checking SEN and forgot I had HoN up, while waiting for Nude.
Also, Nude and I play all the time together, even though we are separated by an ocean I think I've fallen in love.

I have one account that I use with friends from school who are terrible and one account that I use seriously/post on forums with, etc. It's a mark of how accurate PSR is that they are within 5 points of each other, however.

Been playing Keeper of the Forest a lot recently, awesome support hero that isn't restricted from beating the fuck out of heroes, which I like very much. Haven't gone negative once with him and I don't just invis and run in the middle of fights, plus I save people all the time. His invis cooldown is imba as fuck.

He's getting a big buff next patch with his eyes. There was a game I just watched last night where a team used him as part of an AoE ultimate strategy. Him, Tempest, Zephyr, and Soulstealer all together. That didn't really work too well but Keeper solo'ed top against a Hammerstorm+Pyro lane and didn't do that bad at all, he had his portal key by like 15 minutes. The AoE ult strategy didn't work too great but it was a pretty good game anyway. A long one though, but the only time I've ever seen a KotF used in a tournament match so I figured I'd mention it:

Yeah dude, but I'm still on the consensus that torturer needs a buff. The problem is mostly in his cast times. His stun has a huge delay on it, for an AOE that is actually only 25 units bigger than Pyromancer's. It's also the range. It's pretty short in comparison to other heroes. With his third skill, the cast time is retarded IMO. It really shouldnt have a cast time, let alone the huge one they gave him.

However, if played correctly, His second skill kills like crazy. His third synergizes a lot with the AOE metagame right now. Having tempest ult and pulling the entire enemy team into it is really fun. His ultimate takes so much mana that it's almost better to not use it until you have a sacrificial stone.

The best part about him is that he works so well with a sac stone. The survivability and mana regen is all that he needs, and once he gets it, he can just go crazy in teamfights.

Lol yes. That is what I do, I get sac stone and then sotm if the game lasts that long. I agree on the stun; it takes a fuckload of time to cast, and even if you do pull enemies closer by using Agonizing Bonds, you would have to calculate their walk time and be very close to them to successfully cast it, or get lucky since the targets can just walk away like that from the stun .-. too delayed. Never had problems with third skill delay.

As to the ultimate, I think it is good... In paper. For when you get Sacrifical Stone, chances are set ammounts of damage are no longer effective, unless the opposite team is underleveled and/or underfarmed. I think it could use a little buff in range or damage- My point is, they need to make it actually useful in early/mid game as well. I usually max the level of the rest of my skills and leave the 3 ult level ups at bottom priority.

Yeah, i do the same. The thing is, torturer's ulti is actually really good damage even later into the game, especially with sacrificial stone. The trick is to use it and keep away from opponents. Also, if you push towers early enough, his sac stone farm becomes a lot quicker.

Also, his second skill is god at taking on other heroes 1v1 in the beginning of the game.

I really hate his second skill. It feels like too much of an investment on such a seemingly useless spell. I feel as though the only time I can use it is to take out towers. I never level it up until I've leveled everything else (except attribute bonus). I think I can see its power in early-game, but I'd need some more proof of its strength.

Additionally, it feels too weak because of how it randomly strikes the area. If damage was consistent, I'd feel more secure in leveling it.

Would anyone care to get on the Test Client? It helps with the progression of the testing and development of the game by simply reporting things that are fucked up. It will aid S2 in getting the game finished, working and out of beta.

It's extremely good if you wind up in a 1v1 situation. I was playing mid the other day, and we saw a mq come form top to gank. So i ran to the river, stunned and hit my second. It was lvl 3 and she was dead in 2 seconds flat. Overall, it does i think 800 damage at lvl 3, while moving, all physical, so about as much as deadwood's ulti at lvl 3. It rapes solo heroes.

Also, 1200 damage at lvl 4 to a tower is priceless. It helps your whole team, and a lot of pushing on a torturer's part can actually get carries faster farm.

New interface is sexy. The chat servers are fucked up, but they were also messed up when i joined the beta, so i'm used to it. The games have been working for me... With the exception that polly's wards seem to have gotten a massive buff, even though they didnt.

It's patch day, they just got 100 times more testers in the span of 30 minutes. I'm more than willing to wait a day or two to get the bugs ironed out and start playing with this patch's awesomeness. =D

DotA patch was also just released, Torturer's clone got a couple of buffs there.

I've been playing Torturer a decent bit lately. What's worth noting is that early game, physical damage is more powerful than magical damage for all except a very few heroes. So assuming you can run along with someone, every single spike hits them... 1200 physical damage at level 7. In a rune race, or if you meet someone in the jungle? And obviously taking a tower down half health by yourself in 8 seconds isn't anything to laugh about, and with his nuke+stun he can instantly wipe creep waves. Best pusher in the game, to me. (Especially with the Ophelia nerf =( ... )
