This was for an assignment in my 3D animation class before we got to any 3D work. It's not perfect, but it was all done in paint so give me a break. There's a couple of things I didn't have time to fix/finish like the back rim, so that's why its all screwy.

Practice a few dozen more days on end. I guess I'll post the last thing I drew. 6 months ago. The swan song records logo.

It's not finished in this one... But I gave it to a friend of mine and she keeps it at school so I can't get a proper scan. I made some parts darker and fixed hair perspective.
Led Zep ftw! :D

Here is a collection of some of my work. I recently started getting back into drawing. I'm currently working on a portfolio for applying to Digipen:

[Edit]First picture was sketched, by me, scanned, then shopped. Second one was from a 2D reference (first face portrait ever), and last one was a sketch of a friend done in about 20 minutes -and yes, his eyes were actually hidden while he was writing.

Here was a picture I was working on last month for a contest. It's suppose to be a beast for the movie 9.
I spent too much time concepting the beast that I didn't have time to finish coloring (so that turned out terribly).

I call him the Puppetier. He rolls around on a large 8 ball with his legs and has a sewing machine-like arm and retractable circular saw hand. Each head carries a different function and his rib cage is made of finger-like claws.

Self Portrait, finished in one hour. My lips look a bit different in real life, other than that, this is pretty close to what I look like.

i really dig the rib-cage-of-finger-like-claws.

I've been doing a lot of artistic studies lately, and here are a few of my more finished products (the rest didn't turn out too well with the lighting). These are a bit screwed up from the lighting, so you don't get as good of a feel of the pieces as you look at them in their entirety, but nothing I can do about that. Enjoy :)

Lighting makes this picture look less saturated in color, making it look overall bland :(

Blah, light screwed up entire left side of this picture.. Should be darker on left side :(

i believe this thread is for artwork that you have created 100% on your own, this means no outside renders or even brushes for that matter. For signatures there is another thread, just trying to clear any confusion you guys might have.

I like how everything folds together, what would be really nice is if you can make each a different color. ( or a few colors )
What idea is this suppose to be?

Oh and madzombie I also think this thread is suppose to be for looking at peoples art.. Correcting me and blue and just over looking eprecs art... defeats the purpose too.
Look at the dates when we posted... it was over 15 days ago.

didn't look at the date but had i looked in this topic sooner then i would've posted that sooner too. I just quoted that post because it was the most recent that was related.

I brought it up because their was this discussion at the start of the topic and people didn't want things like manipulations because they weren't original and not made by you (the poster).

Is it cool to post manipulations now? ;0
