devilesk: Papa, you love him more than me!
JaFF: Son, now is not the time for your hysterics.
devilesk: I hate you! I hate you! You should die! You never loved me!
JaFF *sighs heavily*: You are the lesser son. You would never come even close to him.
Devilesk *crying even more*: Nobody loves me!!! Nobody cares about me!!!
JaFF: You will soon learn that love is underra-
Is it just me, or would Overrated make more sense in place of underrated?
Because JaFF is telling Devilesk that he doesn't love him as much, and then he should go on to explain that love isn't important, not is important.

None.
wait what are you trying to say?
and for equations, Im still in high school so all I know is algebra and geometry, and Im not strong in either. Arithimitic, I have no idea what it is but I bet there are formulas for that?
None.
Arithmetic is just another word for Mathematics.
None.
So what do u learn in 1st grade LOL. All I learned was about Indians And add and subtract
None.
Well, I suppose I might as well take a crack at it, since we do have a week...
given the fraction
Numerator - Result
-----------------------------------
Denominator - Numerator
and of course, we assumed we had the numerator and denominator from the ratio you can make out of 14:10
Let's plug in some variables, because I like to do that for no reason:
n - x
------- = y
d - (n - x)
Please don't ask why I chose to treat the "Numerator" that's in the denominator as if it referred to the entire numerator, instead of just the variable. I don't know why I did it, but I don't think anyone considered that yet...
Moving on, let's use the ratio everyone has so far:
10 - x
---------- = y
14 - (10 - x)
10 - x
-------- = y
4 - x
Since it seems easier at this point, let's figure out y's value.
10 - x = y(4 - x)
-x = y(4 - x) - 10
x = -4y + x - 10
0 = -4y -10
0 = y + 2.5
-2.5 = y
Now, solve for x:
10 - x = y(4 - x)
10 - x = -2.5(4 - x)
10 - x = -10 + x
10 - 2x = -10
-2x = 0
x = 0
the first Star Wars [chronologically] was made in 1977, and there were 6 major movies.
1977 / 6 = 329.5
370 - 329.5 = 40.5
Now subtract the variable
40.5 - x = 40.5 - 0 = 40.5. Ignore this, because subtracting 0 is pointless.
40.5 - y = 40.5 + 2.5 = 43.
I don't want to believe DTBK is 43.
But, the only thing I can think of is changing 14:10 to 2:10 pm, and dividing by two to get 21.5, but that sounds wrong too, especially since JaFF said it's an integer.

If you get the clue, you know that it's right yourself. But I will not say anything.
Just because JaFF said this, I think we are going about it totally wrong.
None.

Raccoon for lynch.
Lemme re-figure that then.
10 - x
---------- = y
14 - (10 - x)
10 - x
-------- = y
4 + x
10 - x = y(4 + x)
10 = y(4 + x) + x
10 = y(4 + 2x)
5 = ½[/sub]y(2+x)
5 = 2y + xy
5 / y = 2 + x
5 / y - 2 =x
now for y:
10 - x = y(4 + x)
10 - (5 / y) - 2 = y( 4 + (5 / y))
10 - (5 / y) - 2 = 4y + 5
10y - 5 - 2y = 4y
2 + 5y
8y - 5 = 4y² +5y
4y² - 3y + 5 = 0
This looks vaguely familiar:
let's use the Quadratic formula!
Please note that
½ is used in place of a radical sign. (ex: 9
½ = 3.)
(-3² ± 4[4 * 5])
½------------------- = y
2(4)
(9 ± 80)
½------------ = y
8
~Note that here is where the ± symbol is exchanged
only with +, because a negative discriminant would yield an imaginary number. Unless DTBK is really just a figment of our imagination, I'm positive his age isn't followed by an
i.
(89)
½------ = y
8
Unfortunately, here is where my line ends completely: 89
½ is not an integer, it can't even be reduced further than it already is. So unless I messed up somewhere above, I'm positive I used the wrong clues

I think I win as a man of mystery since nobody is trying to figure out Moose's nationality Cause that is a boring clue lol. I bet hes Japanese, Indian or Texan hahaha

Or he is a JEDI!!
I bet that blew your mind!
Moose= Jedi I discovered the clue!
None.
Mooses don't have nationalities, they're just Canadian.
None.
lmao oh hahahaha, I love you ashamed.
None.
hahaha i was jailed, what a waste.
None.
Why do we care how old DTBK is
None.
(-3² ± 4[4 * 5])½
Wrong again?
The ½ should be applied only to the "4[4 * 5]" part. Also, may I stress out the fact that the "[" and "]" implies you integer the number? The correct form would simply be to use smaller parenthesis ;o
(-3² ± (4(4 * 5))^½)
-------------------------- = 3
2(4)
Try that out
(I haven't read/corrected your whole thing, I just went to the end and saw your error
)
None.
I would like to point out that there are still a lot of people who have not submitted their night actions. The deadline is noon Saturday, Pacific Time. After that, you forfeit your chance to use a night power this night.
Dan, don't forget you have a hit of your own.
I sent in my hit a while ago...
