[ The Story ]
I've scrapped the story and started over because 4 players are now supported and the story has to be shaped with the four players in mind instead of only two.
[ Game Play ]
Game play consists of 1-4 players doing basically whatever is possible in the map. Each player gets a hero to control along with a dashboard and basic items in the beginning of the game. In the dashboard you can combine items using alchemy, slot items and use them quickly with a hotkeyed Gateway. Along with your action key which lets you interact with things in the game for example, using the action key near an entrance will move your hero to wherever it leads. Or using the action key near a person lets you talk with them. In the day time shops are open, towns are more active, vision is better, and monsters are less abundant and powerful. In the night time its quite the opposite. Players can kill eachother at certain points in the game. Players can do main quests that progress you through the story and enable epic cinematics to watch, and players can do side quests or quests that dont have anything or little to do with the story.

Monsters
Behavior
Monsters will be more sophisticated then just "spawn and kill." They will have basic common sense, for example if they stand absolutely no chance against you or have no reason for killing you they will run away. They also make sense and have an explanation. Instead of just a regular skeleton, there may be a creature with a whole different more powerful form you may see later on. There may be monsters that attack you because they are at war with your kind or they're hungry. I dont even think i should call the monsters in eschebone monsters they arent really monsters, they're more like races.
Spawning
Monsters spawn according to where you are and what point you are in the game. Of course many other conditions come into play for what spawns. Spawning happens just beyond your heros sight so that you dont see them appear out of thin air. Its also regulated so that you dont have to worry about getting massed by a bunch of spawns. If you leave monsters depending on whether they want to or not, they will follow or stay where they are and later roam around until you kill them.
Spells
Behavior
Cast spells at your gateway according to which ones you have slotted. You can slot spells by placing ones that you want to use often in "slots" which then equip them for quick use at your gateway. This way I can make more then only 4 permanent spells.
Types
Blitz Relampago - Shoots a lightning bolt at your enemies. Higher levels shoot more lightning bolts.
Noxa Cielo - Shoots a ball of fire in the direction your facing. Higher levels make bigger explosions on impact.
Flutwelle Zersto - Creates a powerful wave all around you. Higher levels cover more distance.
Matriz Noxa - Protects your hero with a spinning wall of fire. Higher levels stay active longer.
Stellar Nova - Manipulates the starburst species to cause mass destruction. Higher levels makes more scarabs spawn.
Auswer Effeto - Sends enemies around you flying and smashing to the ground. Higher levels smash further.
Tebeho Yahweh - Targets and shoots fire in many directions. Higher levels shoots more fire and does more damage.
Spalzo Anstrum - Sends you charging at inhuman speed in the direction your facing smashing things in the way. Higher levels cause more damage.
Pazzo Fury - Causes your hero to go on a crazy rampage. Lots of critical hits and inhuman speed. Higher levels stay active longer.
Zersto Brule - Combines the forces of all the elements to do amazing destruction. Higher levels make more shots.
Spaccatura Ochhio - Manipulates space and time to open dimensions where monsters take your enemies. Higher levels stay active longer.
Gems
Amethyst
When slotted and used Amethyst gives 1 Experience point to spend and vanishes.
Emerald
When selected, select the emerald again in the current selection box to store 50 of your energy. Slot and use to release the energy to replenish your hero. Emeralds can have energy stored 4 times before they are destroyed.
Onyx
When slotted and used Onyx will explode and destroy all your enemies in a desperate situation.
Diamond
When slotted and used, Diamonds will revive your hero if he is dead.
