I'll be taking a random bunch of additional Zerg Missions.

The sword and the faith

Lingie and I are basically working on every remaining map, hate to break it to you. And with TZ's problem with having so many bugs I don't see why you still have him doing any at all. Yes he means well, but he just doesn't have the skill. No shame in owning up to that, he hasn't been doing this as long as we have. But don't undercut the project over some silly thing like trying to be nice about it.

The sword and the faith

We have every mission completed except for the following:
Protoss03
Protoss04
Protoss05
Terran06
Terran07
Terran10

And they're being worked on after we test all the new ones we've finished. All existing missions in the beta pack have been bug fixed. :)

Wow, that's... industrious of you.

After I get the maps, I'll make some aesthetic changes, like player colors, etc. and release another public beta, to weed out any remaining bugs. After that is the normal release, and the heavy version (with all the sounds).

Heh, during the Brood War pack, I'll be taking a pretty fair chunk of the maps, myself. I have some very, very good ideas, for a lot of them. >:)

None.

Everything color wise and small things like tech tree corrections and correct player races have been done.

We're currently in the process of testing the remaining maps, before settling down for the last 6. Bug fixes include new AI's implemented to make the missions more challenging, and unit/resource placements.

Hey, did you use that system I invented for the Installation maps? The one where I replaced half the rescuable Marines with Raynors and had a trigger that turned Raynor Marines into regular Marines owned by the other player?

None.

Feb 14 2009, 1:30 pm Lingie Post #67

We left it there to see how it worked, and it failed. All the marines were given to the first human player.

No they're not. I tested it and it worked fine. You broke something.

Er, are they just the "Zerg Campaign Easy" etc., because those aren't all that challenging without the higher-tier units. I was planning on using a few stronger AIs from campaign maps, themselves.

And yes, TassZer's system worked perfectly, when I looked at it. You must've broken it, somehow.

Yes, we're throwing on much more difficult AI's. Two players would make each of the missions except the "Action Stages" incredibly easy, unless you just give the second human player a / the hero(es) on each map, while the other player gets the base.

By chance does someone has a valid download link of the shared maps?

Asked Ex about it, he doesn't know where the ones he and Lingie worked on are, but here's a link he produced to a different co-op version of the SC and BW campaigns: https://www.moddb.com/mods/starcraft-coop-campaign/addons/starcraft-starcraft-brood-war-insane-edition
