Maybe it was a case of "Oops, wrong address".

That's really odd someone would drill out a lockset and then not take anything? wtf? Maybe drug related?

I never lock any of my shit ever. My keys are usually in the ignition or on the floor board of my cars. Our back door is never locked. Not sure if we even have a key for it? Of course I live in a hippie town on the west coast so things are a little different. I had a $500 dollar putter stolen from me once, but that was on vacation in Hawaii and it was locked in the trunk of a car out of sight.. go figure.

.. cool your dad made the hall of fame! sweet. That school has to be back east tho. Lacrosse? They play that in highschool on the east coast? I thought that was only a collegiate sport. And why aren't there any Black athletes in that hall of fame? Not even track and field? wtf?

That hall is from a town he lived in a short time after he was in university and played collegiate... He played for UNC and his team won the NCAA championships, and after he played in Whitby he went up to the MILL, and I think he had the league point record when it folded.

Instead, we bought some 'Secured by ADT' yardsigns and window-stickers to scare people off. Obviously not as effective, but it is better than nothing.

Haha, we have an ADT sign in our front window, and several extremely conspicuous cameras in windows all over the house, that aren't even actually hooked up :P

But, security systems suck. A well thought through break in can circumvent any security system and a well thought out disguise can fool anyone. Hell, I could get anywhere in a government building if I dress right and look like I know what I'm doing. If I were to ever rob a house, I'd make sure it didn't look like I actually robbed the place.

Yeah, but IMO, for your average house, as long as you have enough tin cans and such, conspicuous security, most robbers feel like they might as well just go next door, where it's obvious that they won't get caught.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

If you have to rob people, you aren't that smart. If you are that smart, you're not going to waste time on houses.

Their feats mean that you can steal a lot of shit from a house if you know what you're doing.
There was one time where they brought in a tractor trailer (18 wheel) and stole 5 cars, all exotic.

You can do whatever you want if you know how to.

Why not? From "It takes a thief" its pretty fast, nobody usually suspects a thing, most houses don't have a security system, not that that does anything, and most people who leave there house don't lock everything up in a safe, meaning that its grab-able.

If you're going to rob a bank lets say, there is cameras inside and out for one. Secondly, banks are usually positioned close to a main road, and far away from other obstructions. (tree's other buildings) They're is a more likely chance that you will get caught.

Thigh high affectionado

Banks are much easier when you dont yell at someone to put the money in the bag, just hop over the god damn counter and do it yourself...You could probably get out in 2 minutes with minimal cop trouble.

What are you laughing at, exactly? Rock Band 2 on Wii does have DLC. The only thing it doesn't get is packs, just the individual tracks.

My neighbors were robbed 7 weeks ago, only thing stolen was a half ton gun safe. Contained all his personal firearms, and since he was off duty that week some issued items, their passports, and a bunch of cash/jewelry. They caught the guys though when the guns turned up in a crime about 4 weeks later; I don't know if they ever got everything back however.

From what I understand, the people who used the guns in a crime snitched on the sellers (who happened to commit the robbery). Safes to me just seem to point out to people where your likely to find the most valuable stuff, these people obviously had no problem stealing a 1000lb safe in the 2 hours no one was watching the house.

Ok, what if that 1000lbs safe was downstairs in a basement, no garage, only way to get that thing upstairs is a wooden stair case. Or even downstairs. It was probably a gun safe with some extra shit in it. If I was the home owner, I would get it either bolted or cemented to the floor. Again, not a bulletproof plan, just more shit to ward of the wood -be thief.

I am sorry, I was a dick there.

The Wii has DLC, it is just taking awhile to get up to the Xbox 360's amount.
The Wii has, what, 40-some songs up for download, and growing?
Plus, I am sure you picked up the 20 free songs when Rock Band 2 came out.

Your good.
