I've been looking for a good hexeditor with which to edit some bitmaps, but have been running into some troubles - namely, not finding a, or any, good hexeditor/s with which to edit some bitmaps.
So, anyone suggest your favorite tools for this? I've tried Notepad++'s plugin ( version conflict ) , HexEdit (
too minimalistic ) , GSNote3 ( generally disliked the interface ) , and... a bunch more that don't stand out in memory.

I've always used
Hex Workshop, though I don't actually know what kind of features you are looking for.

Not much in particular. I'm thinking of something about as heavy as, maybe, Notepad. HexEdit doesn't even have hotkeys, save ( save-as only ) , or window controls ( cannot move or adjust size of window ) .

Textpad has a built in hex editor, though I'm not sure how powerful it is. I suggest Hex Workshop, I've been using it for years.

I like to use
FlexHex, don't ask why though, it's basic, and I don't need much else. It's a trial, but I just delete it from the registry and reinstall it when I want to use it again, maybe it's not a good idea for someone who uses it alot though.
