I just realized that the map I have posted has the character starting in an odd location. I think I uploaded the wrong file. Also, since I reinstalled windows, I lost my mapfile. I'll work on this map tonight and post a progress update in this post. [Edit]Er never mind; I lied. Sorry for the lame post. I'll modify it later with an update anyways. [Edit]Additional Work:

This was a very cool map to play. Some excellent systems in place and a storyline that has me salivating for more! I only just stumbled across it in my map folder the other day, because I just assumed it was another copy of Ultimo's Lost Souls map (arrrghh the confusion). And to my pleasant surprise, it was a highly awesome RPG!
I like your Notes screenshot. I got pages of exactly the same for my HA RPG. SC Mapping is like a cooler way of writing a novel, there's nothing quite like it. Bhahhhha yeah it can easily come off that way!
In all honesty notes like that are completely necessary, or else you'll just get lost along the way, everything will be disjointed and non-cohesive, and your game won't make sense. Worst of all, no dev work will ever get completed The bane of brood war mappers was the lack of organization and hardworking-ness. This, like I promised, will be finished before college. FINISHED. You know that dream that everyone here has had of playing a full RPG created by a talented Brood War map-maker? Remember how all anyone ever got was good starts that failed after a short amount of time (with a few exceptions from some amazing people like Vrael and Private-Parts, and Yoshi (even though Yoshi's was disjointed and lacked content), and don't forget about that one guy.... What was his name, that created Siege Dyne? I can't remember his name). Well, someone is ganna finish a fucking map. And by the way, college for me starts in a couple months. Looking forward to it? Yeah tryin to finish before college is definitely the way to go. My uni started back up this year and my mapping has practically ground to a halt.

Update: Currently finishing up the first boss fight! I've also recruited Samsizzle to work on the map to get this thing finished. He'll be doing 50% of the dev work. I also took a screenshot of the story/level outline and uploaded it as a teaser:
Can you read the text? Of course not! It would spoil the whole storyline! Currently I'm working on making my trigger system more user-friendly so Sam can enter in content easily, while writing documents to keep my development time efficient. This should work very well since the trigger systems in this map are basically done, and Sam and I will pretty much be developing content from here out. Here's a document on the overall To Do list for Sam and myself. Currently we are in the "Creating terrain for every other level", although the first three/four areas of the map are already complete and playable.
