Oh, so I see you found the bug.

He's referring to this version, it's pretty apparent when you start. It's nothing major though.

I'm surprised no one has reported the bug in that new ver yet :><:
After picking the map causes some wavs to overlap each other to form a sort of weird sound. :crazy:

You'd have to be our testing slave... where we take out different things each time and see if u crash....
But I don't have much time this month due to finals.

same as here haha, both on west and east, i dont mind at all being a test slave like that :P
oh and, i might sugjest lookin at what changed from the most recent 1.4 to 1.5 because 1.5 was the start of mac problems, you might be able to find the culprit there and see if its the same thing in 1.6 :)
just a thought to see if it helps :O

I have a friend who somehow delayed the crash when he played 1.5. Instead of crashing he dropped. He upgraded his Mac from 32 OS to 64 OS. Me and him also have a nagging suspicion that its a new sprite in 1.5 that drops Mac players. It could be the floor hatch in the beginning.

Well I didn't use Floor hatch anymore in MY latest v1.6 beta release, and neither did Flash ...

What I've been able to do so far is use the original staredit to weed out all illegal units and doodads (and sprites) ... this made mac work...
Then I started using Uberation's Import/export..

Importing Doodads, if I remember correctly, did NOT crash macs..
but Importing Units did.
I'd needa retest this tho, cause it was a while ago (before Flashbeer took off with the project)


On another note
Flashbeer, again, has done tremendous work on the map... There're changes for almost every hero, and all good ones too. Wait .. Wait.. shut your mouth.. I know what you're gonna say... changes for mutant and assassin??? Yeah... but wait.. this isn't blasphemy. Flashbeer has exceeded my expectations by far, and I'm sure it will exceed urs too. And, his ideas are always double-checked by me :).

After this month (which is the Finals month) ... We'd need a dedicated team of balance testers, due to all the changes... Since we want to make this version good.

If you wish to help out and be part of the team, please post that here
I personally want as many people as possible... but I don't want people who'd bitch about the littlest of changes. I want people who, instead of thinking "Oh this is way too OP and must be removed or else I'll ragequit, lols gg", will think "Well this mechanism is really cool but is too OP at the moment. What kind of things can we do to it to balance it out." ...
I also need competitive players... and I'll personally be more tolerant of people from this genre.. because that's just who they are :P.
