Okay, I'm making a new RPG and I'm wondering, is there any way to make a Zealot's upgrade 1?

It says 1 on the bonus damage, but it's 1 for every blade, which is x2.

So is there any way to make a Zealot only upgrade by 1 attack each time?

As for upgrading by amounts, you cannot have a zealot's upgrade as 1.
As for the damage aspect,
There IS a way, but I suggest not doing it, because it will add tons of triggers, be very cumbersome, and it's very difficult to time out right. The Idea is to teleport the Zealot to itself after it starts attacking. GL on that one.

I would suggest an easier avenue, which is to just Double everything's stats in every area. The extra upgrade damage factor will be compensated for.

Remember, Since a zealot takes two hits to do damage, everything is doubled, like armor.

Any attack where you visibly see two objects [in this case arms, but usually missles] move and hit the opponent always deal more than just the normal damage..I'm pretty sure all the attacks that do this [obviously besides zealot] are ATA or GTA [air-to-air/ground-to-air]

Units that this occurs for are: Goliaths, Scouts, Wraiths, and Valkyries [8 missiles, so its 8x not just 2x].

EDIT: If you wanna be smarmy, you could include Mutalisks, because their Glave bounces three times, and the final one could land on the original unit...the damage each hit after the 1st and 2nd bounce is reduced by a third, so the full damage on a unit hit by the first and last glave should be 10/9x, where x= the original damage including upgrades

In theory, getting its base attack to 0 should be easy. Cant you just set it to 0, which is actually 1/2, meaning the zealot does 1 or am I just thinking too much about 0 dmg?

No, you are talking about 0 for the base damage. He wants 1 Total (or .5 for the zealot) for the upgrade damage.
If you put 0 for the upgrade damage, it isnt .5, its zero.
0 is only .5 for base damage.

I kno, Im referring to base attack, not bonus. It is not possible to set Bonus to 1 for units such as Zealots, but for base attack, does it double the .5 for base attack, making the unit do 1?

Actually yeah, set it to 0 (which is .5) and if it attacks .5 twice it goes to 1

At any rate, the base damage is not what is in question here. He wants an increase of +1, not +2.
The only possible problem by having the base damage at 0 would if he for some reason wanted the total damage to be odd instead of even.

Just that the damage dealt never becomes odd, except for 0 base damage and 0 upgrades.
