Custom Spaceship RPDownload HereIn most ways, this is your standard RP map with hero spaceships that can "load/unload" units through the use of a placeable door/teleport-beacon.
This is a modification of my Spaceship RP 2.02, so it inherits the following features:
-Every air unit graphic is a CS
-Every CS is infinitely respawnable
-Infested CC is a CS, to be used a "Death Star" or "Space Station" or something. Despite having this in my original Hull RP circa like 2003... Nobody has copied this idea yet to my knowledge.
-Prebuilt neutral planets with buildings and wandering units
New features added to create the "Custom Spaceship RP":
-Custom Hull Building system, you draw your ship with a probe by building pylons (like a Drawing Contest Map) and then use a beacon to convert the pylons to Machine Shops. With this system you can create any shape you imagine. I also put in a pretty good tutorial explaining the system at the start.
-Vast majority of Beacons Removed, terrain color instead. Exceptions are things like the give unit beacons where player color is critical.

If you're going to hate on my map can you please give a decent argument? The console is very efficient in it's use of space since it does not use isometric terrain. It's also not missing any standard features. You could argue that the planets, asteroids, stations, etc. "world map" should be isometric, but thats a matter of taste and preference. I purposely used grid. It gives more room and allows me to make really round planets.

Ex, itsn't not that horrible. The only problem I see is terrain, and the concept of the RP is CSes, not terrain.
The only flaw I see is that there needs to be more non-ship land, it feels too cramped.

I really disagree because I've never run out of non-ship land in an RP ever. I won't deny though, that is a weaker point of this map, with the focus being CS's and their hulls. Btw, thanks for suggesting to remove beacons and put in colored terrain in the
original topic. I did it and it saved quite a bunch of units for ship walls.
