Something that's been STRESSING me out lately

Okay for like 2-3 weeks now I have been having this rly embarrassing problem. Let me first tell you what it's like: Imagine a situation where a psychic demon appears out of nowhere and says, "If you think of the number 10 five times, I'll kill you." What do you do? Think of the number 10. No matter how hard you try to forget, it keeps frickin popping up in your head.

Now for my situation: I always think I have to go to the bathroom. Yep, the big number one. There's this rly uncomfortable feeling in my abdomen (general bladder area) about 10 minutes after I last went, and I'll give in around 30 mins to 2 hours of trying to ignore it, and finally go empty my bladder out. It's on my mind all day, every day, and it's like a nightmare I cannot escape. I'm afraid I'll never forget, and this stress makes the feeling even MORE uncomfortable and makes my urination a LOT more frequent.

I just need some support or some way to deal with a problem like this. I'm on the verge of losing my mind.

I had a similar problem what I was about 10 or so. It wasn't so harsh though - I felt uncomfortable after about an hour. All those little quirks may pass in time. If not, visit a professional.

Both of my parents are doctors, I'll ask my mom about it when she gets home. My guess is that it's more of a psychological problem than a physical problem. If I were you I'd try just going every time you get the urge to. Maybe the comfort of knowing you can go whenever will stop the problem. Or have you tried going when you felt the urge like 10 minutes later and not been able to? That's my problem sometimes.

The thing is, I KNOW it's a psychological problem. That's what's stressing me out more: because it's all up to me to fix. And the fix is to forget. And if something's on your mind for like say, 2 weeks, then it's really hard to stop thinking about it.

Honestly, I think you can forget about it just by going every time you do feel the urge. Eventually you should stop thinking about it and you'll go back to a normal rhythm. You could also try limiting your drinking to really make it so you didn't need to go :P

Well part of the problem is that I feel stressed every time immediately after I go. It's like I keep anticipating (negatively) the "unconfortable" feeling to come again. And when it does, I'm like "o shizzle, not again"

Have you tried just sitting in the bathroom for like an hour? LOL. I do that sometimes when I get constipated (not a frequent event, but meh, it's good to have plans).

This is a result of my extreme hypochondriasis. I first thought i had diabetes and "frequent urination" was one of my symptoms, so I "gave" myself that symptom, and now look where it's brought me (I had a blood test, no diabetes).

Today, I've been stressed out a little less, so my "urge" has been a little less severe, but I sometimes "scare" myself into thinking I might never forget, and the urge becomes overwhelming till the next day.

Well, you're being much too negative about it. Try any of the ideas I suggested. I bet it helps.

the sitting in the bathroom thing sounds fun, just grab a book or a DS maybe and have a field day in there o_O its summer you got nothing better to do, assuming you dont have a fulltime job inwhich case you have nothing better to do before/after work :D it helped me with digestive pains a few times hopefully itll help you with your problems too

Umm it's very serious, guys. It's like taking over my life. It's on my mind CONSTANTLY. When I forget, the thought comes back soon after and then i get even MORE stressed.

Relatively ancient and inactive

So.. go to a professional. If it's that series and we aren't helping, it's a valid choice.

Woah! I have this problem too! Not with pissing tho, but say if Im relaxed and day dreaming, and I think of something gross, thats all I can think of, and I can't get my mind off anything else.

Nice example there, with the demon

Visit a doctor. You can't expect to get help from a bunch of Starcraft players. At the very least post on a medical forum (google it).

Get checked for diabetes. I'm actually serious. A warning sign is that you have to pee a lot. I actually had the same situation, and my dad, being a doctor took me to see my pediatrician. It turned out to be nothing, (I drink a lot of water...) but it's ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry.

Just here for the pie

It reminded me of The Game. . . I don't really have advice for you. Just try forgetting :O .

I already got checked 6-7 months ago, they said I was fine. I've eaten lotsa sugary stuff and I've never gotten ketoacidosis, so that pretty much confirms my no diabetes.

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless
[2024-5-06. : 5:02 am]
Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value
[2024-5-06. : 5:01 am]
Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
[2024-5-06. : 12:51 am]
Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
