So my sister has this thing hooked up here (my dad's idea) that lets you watch tv through the internet (
http://www.myhava.com/). It hooks up to your cable box and your internet and you can access it anywhere with an internet connection and from a computer that has the program. I'm not trying to advertise it, I'm just trying to give some background info on it. The thing is, though, it sucks our bandwidth. Getting to the page to post this took a good 30sec to a min just for this to load. Now, I want to play halo, but I can't at all while she watches, and she always bitches when I turn it off.
Is there any way I could create a lot of internet use, enough to suck all the bandwidth away from that, making her end laggy, and therefore, making her not want to use it? Thanks.
Edit: So I started 2 popular torrents and opened around 50 or so myspace tabs. It stopped working. *win*

None.
Ahah good job I hate having bandwidth wars with my brother. I have a similar program but it doesn't lag the crap out of us.
None.
Does it go through a router?
None.
Yes it does, but my dad's tech savvy so he'd find out soon enough.
Edit: Lol, I think I broke it. My downloads aren't even going and she can't access it on her end. Yay! Hahahah.

I guarantee that somebody made a software for this already.. did you try to run like 30 bandwidth tests at the same time? If you try this.. make sure you say your connection is extremely fast so it tries to download a gig file. Also, is this the same sister with the vibrator chair? (or was that somebody else?)
None.
I thought that wasn't actually his sister's...
None.
And I'm pretty sure it was someone else.
