To live and to die

Hello, I'm Nexo, and I would like to present my campaign created by myself for Starcraft 1. I have already finished translating my campaign since my native language is Spanish. The original concept was created in 2015, but I decided to revisit it to make it more enjoyable. After a long time I decided to post it here since I was unaware of these forums created by the community. I hope you like it as much as I like creating maps.

-History-

Forget the history of all the characters except their names. In this alternate universe, the Terran Dominion does not know of the Protoss, and they discover Aiur. A meteor shower over Korhal attracted the attention of Emperor Arcturus Mengsk, and he decides to send his fleet to conquer the planet without realizing that they had already been conquered by other Terrans. This campaign is about the liberation of a planet, the war directed at three different worlds of the three races. The different stories occur simultaneously.
"The War of the Three Worlds" is an independent campaign.

-Details-

This campaign is not a MOD, you just download it and place it in the "Maps" folder
Brood War is required to play (There are .scm and .scx maps)
The levels go from easy to hard. In my opinion, the Terran campaign is easy while the Protoss campaign is more complex.
Enjoy!

Mission 1

-Is this a mistranslation? Meteor showers don't teleport people... I know Starcraft is Sci-Fantasy, but this strains credulity.

-I like the terrain. Very well done.

-AI is a bit braindead, it just gets beaten to death.

-Map is a too big/mission too long. I would aim for half-hour complete (without DamFoo level aggression)

-As above, too many units in last battle. It becomes unwieldy when honestly a single control group of tanks + control group of goliaths could beat "the last battle" due to AI dumbness.

Hi, thanks for your opinion. Well the AI was always like that xd

And no, it's not a translation error. In my story, the meteor shower teleported a group of Terrans and that's why they discovered that world.

I haven't actually played, but I'm wondering if maybe you meant a wormhole instead of a meteor shower?

Wormhole definition:

A theoretical distortion of space-time in a region of the universe that would link one location or time with another, through a path that is shorter in distance or duration than would otherwise be expected.

Hi! A light appeared in that meteor shower and teleported them. Recall efect

UPGRADES

Hello there, I have been told that I didn't do some translations in the map Conquisters3 (Terran); and in the map Consumers1 (Zerg) I made an update. Please redownload those two maps. Thanks for playing my campaign ^^

Hey good stuff! I just finished the terran section - the Battlecruiser level was awesome! Was fun to play some new stuff and even though I don't speak a lick of español, I still enjoyed all the voiceovers and stuff.

Critiques: some things are a bit tedious, like literal map spacing (takes about 300000 years to get battlecruisers across the map for instance), or the pacing of levels. Also all the random popup enemies kinda get old, like its fine to have some burrowed zerglings and stuff, but like in the early level when you're saving Duke and battlecruisers just pop up out of nowhere in areas you've already cleared... its like come on. I ended up using a fair amount of single player cheats in the RPG-esque levels to avoid the tedium as well.

Overall though, I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to playing to Protoss stuff!
