You grab the role of wrapping paper behind your desk and stalk down the stairs quietly. You hear a shuffling of newspaper, and you smell eggs and bacon frying. That's strange; your mother rarely makes breakfast that extravagant, especially on a school day. Some has the tv - no - a radio?! - on in the kitchen. You hear a ballad sung by a melancholy female, backed by trumpets and a saxophone on it, but the quality is exceedingly poor. No wonder you never noticed the radio before - the quality sucks.

Wrapping paper at the ready, you round the corner and are caught off guard by the scene before you: the dull ceramic tile has been replaced by an even duller linoleum tile. The appliances appear to be at least sixty years old, your father - who you rarely see - is calmly reading a newspaper at the breakfast table, while your brothers are sitting politely in fresh, crisp button up shirts and combed back hair. They are fighting over who gets a decoder ring in the bottom of a box of cereal. Your mother is in a tea length dress with a pale floral design, and her hair is pinned back into perfect curls. She turns around and is startled by your appearance. "Really, Scarlet. You can't go to school looking like that. Hurry up and freshen up. You don't have much time!" You look down at your own attire - you are wearing a long house robe, slippers and a long night dress under that. Your father arches his eyebrow at you, folds the newspaper carefully on the table, gives your mother a kiss on the cheek and leaves for work.

You learn that it is 1951.

Get the launch codes and nuke the Soviets. Failing that, enlist in the military to fight in Korea. Also, set DEFCON to DEFCON 1.

Look, you can become a pop sensation. BUT first you have to get yourself to that point in a logical fashion. Try to preform at school, join a troop, if you ever get back to the right century upload videos on YouTube. But those type of posts will no longer be tolerated. If you want to do something you have to logically submit the actions, from start to finish.

Go up the stairs and get ready for school, dressing in a skirt or whatever uniform you're expected to wear.
