Vote for me, I will bring the Mafia to justice through public execution! We can teach both families a lesson they will never forget. While each side is busy killing each other, we can eradicate the remnants of their criminal organizations!

I will also use a democratic process when possible, giving other Townies my power by extension. If you elect me Mayor then we can hold the position together as one! It's like casting a vote for yourself!

So your reasoning is that anyone who shares their role with confirmed Townies must be Mafia? That makes zero sense. It seems almost like you just made up an excuse to vote against me for the sole purpose of not wanting me elected, but for some other reason than the one you've sort of stated.

Could it be that maybe you're Mafia, and you assume I'm telling the truth about my role's importance, so you want to ensure I don't get protection now? That makes a lot more sense than that clearly fake reasoning you just provided.

I vote for Wing Zero. Dons voting for him means one of three things: they're retarded (don't believe that's true for Lotus) and are trying to get an obvious mafia elected. Or, they're voting for a townie so that we vote for a mafia because we think they're trying my previous statement. Or, they're voting for a non-factor (won't receive votes anyways) whose alignment they think will best benefit them, probably townie, so Wing gets lynched.

If I was Mafia, I wouldn't let the other Mafia vote for me, I'd tell them to wait and see if I needed it. If I did, then they'd vote for me at the last minute, otherwise vote for some Townie that isn't going to win anyways.

There's my reasoning, better than the none that you gave.

Also, by your logic, your abstain could even be used to indicate you're mafia. You're not voting for yourself until/unless you have to.
