Gas could be the visual for karma, and what goes around comes around. Earning 10 karma/gas = 5 minerals. As an incentive, leaving karma gives the giver one mineral.

Posts show where karma was given. If someone thinks no karma was deserved, then it is reported.

Looks like it's time to be a productive member of SEN.

Actually, I'm planning on contributing a bunch to the SCI wiki. I don't really have enthusiasm for much more, especially since the map I was making got killed as soon as SCII release was announced. There's really no point in wasting a month and a half for a map that nobody will play because SCII is better.

By that same logic, do you see a point in adding to the SC1 wiki if a lot of people will feel like you and give up on SC1 map-making?

I've talked to corbo.. he's going to add some sort of sponsorship/grant for contests in which peeps can apply for.

In the meantime, I'll make sure the next weekly SEN mapping contest WILL have mineral prizes..

Even if no one would ever use the SC1 map making wiki (though I assume they will, people are still mapping), it would be nice to organize the tutorials and the old wiki into one easy to use source that is the wiki so that old scripts can be deleted and clean up SEN a little.

As far as old contests and etc, I will look into it.
