Hey guys I got the following error the other while I was happily mapping:
Starcraft X-tra Editor (Special-Mode)
You have created the maximum number of units with propeties possible.
You will not be able to create any additional units until you delete the old ones.
PLEASE tell me there is a way around this?
Yeah, identical properties can be re-used in SCMDraft and StarForge.
Alternatively, for things with different HP/Shield/Energy amounts or Invincibility, you can just use triggers to modify those instead of Properties slot.

I am using properities for the burrow effect I am afriad. And yes I am having problems with my SCMDraft which I have raised in a seperate post. Still trying to fix it at the mo. :S

You might be able to place them burrowed via triggers, instead of preplaced on the map

How is there a limit to how many units you can preplace in the editor with selective properties? Lethal_Illusion made me some map that had ~1250 burrowed units in it and it works fine. All preplaced in the editor.
None.

I was using StarEdit. Stop jumping to conclusions.

I'm not jumping to any conclusions because clearly you'd have the answer if you read Moose's post. You're the one jumping to conclusions if you did read Moose's post and didn't find an answer because you'd then be assuming that Lethal uses StarEdit. Owned.
None.

I was using StarEdit. Lethal was most likely using Scmdraft 2. Noob.

Stop being asses and actually try to help each other.
There's no limit to
preplaced units with properties.
There's a limit to how many different properties you can have with the Create Unit With Properties (CUWP)
Trigger Action. This limit is 64. StarEdit and its variants use a different CUWP slot
every time you use the CUWP action, while SCMDraft and StarForge allow you to reuse slots.
If you can't use SF or SCMD, then the only workaround is preplacing the units or setting invincibility/hp values with follow-up actions (and of course, you can't burrow units like this).
None.

OK guys well I have finally got SCMDRAFT2 working (read other post) and thus this problem is now null and void. Thanks anyway guys but yeh I think I will be moving away from X-Tra editor for good now. too many limitations!
