If I were to play a mod with some friends, is there a certain way to get it to work? Cause it doesn't on Battle.net.

If I had to, how would I make a mod myself?

That should tell you everything you need to know about setting up custom servers

And Shadowflare's realm is the most used unofficial server, as it supports all patches.

Now I've got the stuff in, how do I make a server? Or get on to ShadowFlare's?

Just select the gateway like you would any other battlenet gateway. If you did it right, it should be added on the list of gateways.

Okay. So I start a gam and *crash* it crashes around my ears...

Any ideas/help/flames at me?

Crashing has nothing to do with the server. It has to do with the mod.

If it crashes when your logging, in then you sire are using Vista and require ToggleNX.
