No... there is no strategy, it's just hoping your guild members aren't daft idiots which is likely the case. The entire game is a grindfest; raids are merely another form of grinding. Wasted way too much money on that shit because friends would say, "Oh, the guild is progressing!" and we'd wipe 50 times on firemaw because of retards dancing on tables and then wipe 50 times on solarian because everyone is a blind deaf mute. Every fight is the same old garbage. PvP has no strategy, either; this game is not remotely balanced for PvP and it shows.

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

Sounds to me like you just played with a handful of idiots, not to mention you were in TK/SSC which are the two most horrible instances ever. Ever.

Yes, they are gay instances. And yes, the guild was full of retards. I'd been to like 10 different guilds and it was always the same shit. If you're lucky enough to jump into a guild with people who actually pay attention to vent and get out of spout/flame patches/move away when glowing like a miniature sun, then it would be probably more enjoyable then what I was forced into.

But the chances of that are very, very slim.

Thta basically sums up the entire game.

Relatively ancient and inactive

I used to play - trying to forget about WoW and move on. Heroics seem more and more fun, though. I really hope I can resist renewing my subscription.

Lol, I'm not trying to change your opinion because I know I can't. Having played starcraft, warcraft, diablo 1/2 for ~8 years, I personally think WoW to be the most fun of them all. But that's just me, I enjoy playing on high-end progression guilds where it actually does take strategy and skill to kill the hard bosses. Not to mention playing and talking with 24 other people makes even the most boring tasks more fun.

Having played only up to level 64, you haven't even seen half the game. :bleh:

I watched my brother play, he was a 70 Tauren Shaman, I would know what level 70 and higher is like. I was 67, not 64, but bah, I don't even care about it anymore :O .

In the end, what got me to quit was the realization that I'm ending playing sessions in utter frustration so I can do the same thing at a higher level and get higher numbers. If we made a SEN WoW guild with more then 5 active members, I think I would actually pay for the transfer and renew the subscription. Otherwise.. not worth it. I'm enjoying WCIII more, and that's free.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

I recently stopped playing as much WoW as I used to due to sheer boredom, but like all addictions I'll get my withdrawals and end up playing again in a few weeks.

I started on Darrowmere, transferred to Arthas, and eventually started a few alts on Auchindoun and Area 52. These 3 are the ones I play with most often (the Shaman being my main for raiding).

Kow, you made a typo in your thread's title. It should read: "Any CracK users?"

Mmm, you don't know what it's like until you hit 70 and do Raids or Arenas. If you don't even hit max level, you're missing out on pretty much the entire game. The game changes dramatically from 1-69 to 70. However, leveling is great fun if you level with a friend or two.

It's like judging SC based on the Single Player mode. Fun? Yes, but it gets repetitive. The real fun in SC is playing online with friends or making maps.

And if you DO hit the highest level, congrats! You just wasted 50 hours of your life!

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

I think the fastest anyone got from 1 to 60 was like 4 days played time (96 hours). I would actually love to know if it is possible to do that faster given the lower EXP from 20 to 60. Hell, that might even give me incentive enough to start playing again.

Well, he must've been insanely determined. It took me overall maybe half a year or more of casual playing to get to 70 - granted, I tried to enjoy it as much as possible, such as stopping at the top of PvP brackets and going instances to get the best gear.

Insanely determined is putting it lightly, it was only his second main. He plays like 14 hours a day.
