I played on a cracked version on a private server, because I'm cheap like that. I think it was one of the WoWscape wowlike servers. I got to level 40 (Night Elf Rogue), and then I just drifted away because it got a little boring. I'm glad I didn't pay a cent for any of it, wouldn't have been worth it :P

I got the 10-day trial, I got to the highest level I could (20) and I was really bored, I guess I got tired of games like that from playing Runescape, I just didn't enjoy it, even if it was free, 15$ is definitely way too pricey for that game in my opinion.

I considered playing WoW but when I looked at the montly price, I heavily decided against it =/ because I'm only allowed on the comp on weekdays when its not the holidays. I was also further discouraged when I heard that the #1 dropout rate from school in the U.S. is WoW. Also WoW is considered as some kind of joke in our school :|

Lol, you played runescape?
That game sucks...
I still can't believe I got to level 80 with 78 mining without every macroing or paying a cent to be a noob member.

This may sound stupid,
But in every MMORPG if you play with a girl character all these noob geeks will overload you with free stuff.
(good stuff if you're a real good liar/actor :P )

Sugardaddies FTW! XD

Elezora , Night Elf Hunter, Spinebreaker
Rosefasd , Troll Rogue, Darkspear

I rarely play on Darkspear though.

By any chance Tazzy did you play with Beer Keg and some of old SEN members? If so old Server was Firetree and a lot of use played on it. We were Alliance =/

No, I don't remember ever being allowed numbers in name.

I recently quit, played a rogue on Altar of Storms.

Armory Link

Someone else from SEN use to play with me there, I have totally forgotten his SEN name though. =/

And I was on Firetree with beer and them, but I rerolled when Altar of Storms came out.

I don't quite remember what my name on here used to be either. But I still play on AoS

BTW - we're 2/6 Sunwell now (#28 Horde Guild in US). You should come back and play again Elthea :(

You can count on the new guy (He has one post) to revive a dead topic. Seriously, WoW is crap, get over it :crybaby: . It's so repetitive: Kill this monster with this spell, kill the next monster with this spell, etc.

Haha, except it's not. There's actually quite a bit of strategy involved in high-end raiding. But it's okay that you have no idea what you're talking about (ignorance ftw). By the way, I'm not a "new guy". I was here for about 3 years on a different account, the name of which I completely forget.

I know what it's like, I played it up to level 67, and then I decided it was way too boring. There is only strategy in PvP, which my PC was barely able to comprehend due to 256mb RAM.

Mmm, you don't know what it's like until you hit 70 and do Raids or Arenas. If you don't even hit max level, you're missing out on pretty much the entire game. The game changes dramatically from 1-69 to 70. However, leveling is great fun if you level with a friend or two.

It's like judging SC based on the Single Player mode. Fun? Yes, but it gets repetitive. The real fun in SC is playing online with friends or making maps.
