Expect these up sometime later, I am focusing on the triggering right now, since it is about... 99.999% of the work. I will however, post progress as I go along. If you want a look at the terrain, I will most likely recycle the terrain from an old map and post some screen shots of that sometime this week.
Basics
"Monstah Dyne" is a somewhat short RPG that can be played indefinitely through raising Monstahs that you capture and breed to get better ones. You start off by buying an egg from the Monstah Shop, then hatching it at the Spiritual Room and taking off into the wilderness, where you can gain fight wild Monstahs and retrieve new ones. While you can only have a maximum of 3 Monstahs when you save, including eggs, the game allows for a lot of creativity and ingenuity. An interesting feature that will be included is the ability to get a code when you save your game and enter it while you are with a friend who also entered their code, to breed with each other's Monstahs and also do a 1v1 or a 3v3 battle to see who has the better Monstahs.
Breeding
Breeding isn't just having two Monstahs do the hippidy dippidy and getting a new one, its more of a Merging process. You lose those two Monstahs and get a new one, which inherited it's parents abilities, element and breed. When you merge two Monstahs, you choose one as the Genus and the other as the Soul. The Genus, is what the breed of the Monstah comes out to be, while the Soul is the element. Any abilities the parents had when they were merged can be learned by the child, but it must be matured to the same point as the parents. Breeding two high level Monstahs with all high level skills can leave the child without skills, so you must pay to teach it a mediocre skill or your screwed.
Battles
In battle, each Monstah can hold up to five skills at once. These five skills, or abilities, power and effects differentiate in potency according to the Monstah's stats, breed and/or element. Be careful in choosing which you have, they can result in devastating effects and/or utter fail. Skills most likely require Mana, or in some cases Health, to use. Make sure you build your Monstah to properly utilize these skills. The battle system is turn-based where you have 15 seconds to choose what your going to do and then it is your opponent's turn. Battles can consist of a 1v1 Monstah battle or a 3v3 where you use them all at once.
RPG
The RPG element of the game will be navigating the town, where you will use a High Templar and hallucinating units for their all interactions, from talking to buying. In the wilderness, there are different gates you can take to interact with the Monstahs for battling and catching, so you can further the game. There is a boss at the end of each gate, from which you receive special items to increase the power of your Monstahs in one way or another. As for story, there isn't much beyond raising your Monstahs, battling within the gates, and then fighting in the arena.

Yes, I realize that this game a ripoff of a few games, but think of it as more of a ported game than anything. It would also be an interesting map to play on bnet. Bear with me and lets see how this turns out
