Wasn't that on v4? The real thing we need is an increased character limit :/ .

Just here for the activity... well not really

Does it need to be .GIF?

I would guess it would have to be.

It was really neat. You it was just like the one in the StarCraft game, but when you went off the actual website page and into your browser ( address bar, scroll bar, ect... ) it would change back.

If IP, Moose, Youshi, decide to do it, you should be able to buy customizable colors via Teh Stor.

Wouldn't that be hard to do? And how do we exctract the MPQ's? (and bring them into paint or w/e)

We had a starcraft cursor. It was killed because it was IE-only.
Also it has to be .gif, but if you make a nice .png icon pack I'd redo the current one in .png because I'd rather have .png anyways.

There are other features that they made that don't work on other browsers, like glowing text.

Well why can't we bring back the awesome cursor? Or did it screw up mozilla? Obviously we can't do everything, but the site is currently geared towards mozilla, a lot. I only use IE because of habit, I have mozilla, but I just don't use it.

Anyway, is there a proper reason we don't use the SC cursor?

Im assuming it does something to Fx, or else we would probably have it, no?

The site isn't "Geared towards Mozilla". The site is geared towards doing things the way standards specify, not what some shitty programmer over at Microsoft decided should be a part of his internet. Although if it is a part of the w3c standards then that's Firefox's problem. I do recall being able to use custom icons in Opera, and Opera usually follows standards to the letter, so maybe it is.

You shouldn't use IE because by using IE, you're becoming a part of the movement that forces web developpers to torture themselves because Microsoft forces crappy programs upon everyone. Boy am I ever glad I use Linux, I'm safe from IE!

That should be the icon for the Staredit Network forum (this one), instead of the green buggish thing.
Wouldn't fit like the other images and wouldn't be uniform with everything else... Not a bad idea for affiliates however...

PyMS and ProTRG developer

Use a MPQ Editor, i recommend WinMPQ. Then if you want the icons from the game you will need a GRP converter. You can use GRPEdit or SFGrpConv for that.
