The result of a player choosing to be Mugger may turn out to be a regretful decision when the Mafia doesn't have enough killing powers. If the Town is good at killing Mafia, I think they'd be okay will losing some money in the process.
Ultimately, not all civilians can be always protected from mugging.
Sure they can.
Ok, whatever, you're obviously doing one of your "smarter than you" jibes.
Note: random luck doesn't count, as it cannot be depended upon to always protect everyone all the time.
None.

Nope, just being factual. I'd go into more detail if it wouldn't likely have negative repercussions during the game, especially if I ended up being Mafia. I just sent Demon the workings of my glorious strategy, so he knows that what I'm saying is accurate.
Note: random luck doesn't count, as it cannot be depended upon to always protect everyone all the time.
Oh, of course.
I pity Deeman so I'll throw this in.
I'll play only if there's a Beguiler in the game. And if I break my record of rolling a Beguiler equivalent in every SEN mafia where there is one I'll pretend this game never existed.
None.
Added. No Beguiler. 2bad XD
Just need 3 more people and we can start this. ;o
pls
Bump.
Come on SEN, let's make this happen. If three more people sign up I will too.
I'll play only if there's a Beguiler in the game.
If three more people sign up I will too.
I have a condition also. After looking at the roles, I'm starting to think the game could be really unbalanced. I will participate only if the town outnumbers the mafia by at least a factor of two on the first turn. But if three more people sign up I will leave, unless the town outnumbers the mafia by at least a factor of three on the first day.
However, if the initial number of town-sided players would be at least twice the number of mafia, I will still join under the condition that each town-sided player be given an extra $100 to compensate for the imbalance of roles. Alternatively, I would play if there were at most 12 players and the mugger had the option to also steal the target's item instead of take their money.
But if there are at most 11 players, and the average number of non-whitespace characters in the participants' names are greater than or equal to seven, I would play. Consequently, if the average average length of the players' names is exactly eight (digits after the decimal will be truncated unless the number of views of the thread is odd, otherwise the number will be rounded up), and roles were handed on the same day as the summer solstice, I would consider participating under the condition that I would be granted immunity from all negative night actions on nights that are prime numbers (real nights, not game nights).
If roles are handed out before the majority of members of the Italian parliament's birthdays have occurred this year (disregarding MPs' names that begin with the letter "W"), I will speak only in haikus; if after, in limericks.
This entire post is sarcastic.

Win by luck, lose by skill.
We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch
I bet this post started as as subtle way to find out about town to mafia ratio disguised as a legitimate concern.
demon said he'd start the game at eleven if I signed up, but wouldn't that mean the game would only last like five rounds?
Okay, well, since it appears as if no one else is going to join, I guess I'll start the game now.
I've slightly adjusted the prices of items to compensate for the low amount of townspeople. Just kidding lul. I'll send out activity checks now. You have until 9 PM EST on Wednesday to respond to them.

Will you really? Because a lot of times when people spontaneously say they'll play after the thread has been up for a while, they end up not being serious or just going inactive during the whole game.
People who do that are supposed to be banned from future games so it won't happen again. It doesn't make sense to ban him because other people have gone inactive.
Day 0 (no lynch)
"I told you I’d find you, you son of a bitch."
"Wh… What? W-who are you?"
"You don’t remember me? Ha! Isn’t that ironic? If only it were the other way around. Oh, you would’ve really lucked out then."A man was lying on the ground, grasping his head. There was blood running down his fingers. A man stood above him. He was holding some object. What object, you ask? I can’t tell you. I couldn’t see anything in that alley. It was getting dark, the buildings were blocking whatever light there was, and I wasn’t trying to pay attention to little details like that. We had finally found him, you know? The one we’d been searching for. Oh, I tell ya, I was scared out of my mind. Or was I? Maybe I was excited. Or maybe I was just really anxious about the entire situation. To be honest, I don’t really remember.
Anyways, we had finally found our man. It wasn’t too hard. A bit of asking questions here… A bit of snooping around there… In a city this messed up, a little bit of cash can get you far. Nah, it wasn’t hard at all. Nobody cared what we were doing. They were all hiding in their homes, too scared to come out. As long as the questions we asked didn’t relate to them, they were glad to help us. I guess they were willing to do anything to get us out of their hair. And to be fair, it’s not like what we were doing was completely unwarranted. We had been betrayed. We deserved some revenge. Actually, this is all beside the point. Let me get back to the story. What were we talking about? Oh yeah, some guys in a dark alley.
The man was on the ground, holding his head tightly. There was blood dripping down his fingers. His skull had been bashed in pretty hard. To be honest, I was surprised that he was still conscious. I guess he was pretty dizzy, because it didn’t look like he knew where he was. He looked around for a few seconds, and as soon as he saw the man with a weapon standing above him, he bolted. Well, “bolted” is kind of an overstatement. What I meant to say was that he picked himself up - slowly, I might add - and stumbled a few feet before falling back down. The blood was really coming out of his head by then. It was kind of hard to see, given all the rain that was washing it away. Oh yeah, it was raining pretty hard. Did I already tell you that?
The man tried to get up again, but he was down for good this time. The guy who had been standing above him slowly walked towards him. He had a grin on his face. He seemed to be enjoying this a bit too much. Me? I was scared out of my mind. Or was I? Maybe I was excited. Wait, did I already mention this? Anyways, the man on the ground was definitely unconscious by now. The man with the weapon stood over him for a few seconds. He just stood there, staring at him. I wish I could tell you what he was thinking, but even I don’t know. Nobody knows what goes on in that crazy bastard’s head. He stood over him for a few seconds, and then he went off. He swung the object at the guy’s head. I heard a crack. He did it again. I heard more cracks. He kept doing it; more times than was necessary. Finally, after his little rampage, he was done. He was still standing over the man – well, dead guy now – and was breathing heavily. He turned to me and said something. Damn it, what was it that he said? Oh yeah, I remember now.
You may now buy items. Note that you can only buy items and transfer money during the day. Day 0 ends at 12 AM EST on Saturday, July 20th.
Reminder: All players start off with $1000.
Were we supposed to lynch?
Win by luck, lose by skill.
Do I PM you or post on here if I want to buy a recording adapter?
None.
