Im in. FIRST EVER CONTRACT OFFER: open to anyone
By agreeing to this contract, you will provide me with $10,000,000, and I will provide you with all five of my votes on the first day
I would like you to clarify on the time of payment for the $10,000,000 mentioned in this contract.
If it's exactly this:
By agreeing to this contract, you will provide me with $10,000,000 immediately after the start of the game and all players receive their $100,000,000 from the host, and I will provide you with all five of my votes on the first day
or:
By agreeing to this contract, you will provide me with $10,000,000 before the end of the last round of voting, and I will provide you with all five of my votes on the first day
then I'll agree to the contract.
None.
Just to be clear, contracts need to be between two specific people. It has to have the other person's name on it, so if someone agreed to your offer then a new post would need to be made for the contract between the two of you.
Sign-ups are closed. I'll send out a notice of the game's starting time to all players. Contracts cannot be created until the game begins.
Edit: Due to a player quitting as the game was starting, the start time has been delayed.

Leeroy_Jenkins agrees to cast all five votes for SmE(Raitaki before the end of the first voting round.
Leeroy_Jenkins also agrees to keep SmE(Raitaki as all five final votes. (No changing votes)
None.
Take my name off the signup. I'm not doing this out of spite, I just literally don't think I will enjoy this game.

Right as the game is starting, after everyone received their PM already? Nothing about the game has changed since you signed up, and considering the number of clarifications you had about the gameplay already, it seemed like you were wholly satisfied with your ability to enjoy the game.
I'm not sure what reason you would have to be spiteful; I asked you in the shoutbox to clear 20 PMs because your inbox was full, you acknowledged that your inbox was full, and then you only cleared 3 PMs, resulting in the obvious outcome where your inbox is full again less than 12 hours later.
I'm not sure how you'd expect me to inform you that your PMs are full again if we aren't online at the same time, other than including it in a post. It's not like I can PM you to notify you that you can't receive PMs. I even stated in the post that I would edit the message out after you read it. That being the case, I'm not sure what reason you would have to be spiteful.
Anyways, at your request, you've been removed.
Hopefully someone will take the spot before the game is supposed to start, otherwise it'll have to be delayed.

I don't think he is being spiteful, by the fact he said he wasn't. I am pretty sure he was more referring to people who drop out of games because of other players, or because thye don't like their role, or whatever.
I would like to sign up again.
None.

I took it as an indication that he believes he has a reason to be spiteful, since he's clarifying that he isn't.
I edited out the second half of the post before his since he read it, but it was a message addressing him about his PMs being full again, and that he needed to clear sufficient space so it wouldn't happen a third time or he'd be removed from the game. That's most likely what he's referring to.
I would like to sign up again.
Sure, what's the worse that could happen?
I quite simply misunderstood the game. It took me awhile to realize that the reason I signed up was because I took the game to be about writing contracts with hidden clauses to gain unfair advantage. When this was clarified I realized that this was not the game for me and unsigned

There's nothing that says you couldn't try to sneak something in, but the questions you were asking were the sort of thing that would never be allowed by anyone in any game, even if the only objective of the game was to write misleading contracts. You were thinking so far outside the box that it would have compromised the integrity of the game, and even negated the point of making contracts at all.
That kind of thinking can certainly be an asset in a competitive forum game, but it has to function within the confines of the ruleset.
This sort of reminds me of Aristocrat's last Mafia game, in which you made a new thread to try to trigger actions for the suggested players. Even if the post had been functionally accurate, the fact it wasn't contained within the Mafia thread made it irrelevant to the game.
Exactly. I just misestimated the scope of the game lulz.
Also that's a hilariously similar occurrence lmao

Nowhere does it state that one person cannot be two players. Nor that you may only sign up once.
Am I playing this game right?
None.
The game is back in sign-ups now, since TiKels is no longer participating.
A new starting time will be posted after the last player slot is filled.

I am willing to auction one or more of my votes, starting at $100,000 for one vote on the first round.
Win by luck, lose by skill.
If the last player slot is filled today, the game will start at 8 PM
EST tonight (16.5 hours from now).
I'm sorry to deliver a news like this in this precise moment - If there is someone who is willing to participate in this game (after the last slot becomes filled), give my place to him. I can be online at least once a day, but since my timezone is pretty much different from most of you, it'll be very difficult for me to make contracts and agree to them. I can still try to win and not break the rules, but this makes the game less fun
So, if there's anyone who wishes to take my slot, I'll give it to that person.
None.

I'm hoping this won't be an issue, since two people don't need to be online at the same time to form a contract. This was part of the reason that I implemented the system like this
I know that, but in my case I can't make negotiations about details. For example, if you suggest me a contract, you have to wait 6+ hours to get my reply, and if you have to reply again to me, it's gonna take another 6+ hours. Furthermore, I'm a bit busy at this moment so it will take even more time. That's why I said so.
None.
Alright, I think we've waited long enough for another player to join. I've modified the rules slightly to make the game work for less than 9 players. The main issue was that having less players causes an inflation effect which would have changed the gameplay negatively. However, the rules now account for this and prevent it from happening.
No other mechanics were changed, although a few things were reworded to make their meaning clearer. I would advise players to look over the first post in its current state, in the event anyone misunderstood any of the rules when they read it previously.
Edit: The game has started as of 8 PM.
Round 1 has now begun.
This round will end Monday, 8:00 PM (EST)

I make my way to the bar to pick up a glass of captain morgan's before making my way over to the slot machines.
