Today:
*I get a book from the library, and start reading it*
Her: Hey I read that book, It was great!
Me: Didn't I recomend the series to you?
Her: No the librarian did.
me:
Because it's just that hard to say "Yeah, they were great!"
Ridiculous.
Um, what? Does it matter that she doesn't remember you recommended them?
Seriously, the way you care so much about what she does/says/thinks makes it pretty clear that your interest in her is not purely that of a 'friend'.
None.
Usually when I don't remember something I don't make up an alternate story.
Like if she said "You did? I don't remember that." compared to "No you didn't."
Also, I wouldn't consider anyone who flat out lies to me for no reason to be a friend.
None.
You're just assuming she "[made] up an alternate story" and that she "flat out lies to [you] for no reason".
Here's several possibilities for you:
1. She genuinely has no memory of you suggesting this at all and a librarian did genuinely recommend it to her
2. She vaguely remembers someone recommending it to her and has figured it must have been a librarian
3. She remembers you recommending it and a library also independently recommended it. She was being cheeky when she said 'no, a librarian did'.
It's not clear that she was deliberately lying and even if she did just because you don't know why doesn't mean there's "no reason".
If one of my friends apparently lied to me I won't go crying to an internet forum about it. If they'd made a pattern of it I'd just decide I couldn't trust them.
None.
I ask this again. She obviously doesn't care about you, not to be harsh. You obviously care for her for whatever strange reason far more than she cares for you. She's not even letting you get close enough emotionally to (hopefully) even think of asking her out; it's a subtle yet powerful way of telling you to fuck off. Anywho, that's just my two cents. How do you know she isn't on a different yet equally obscure online forum, making threads and numerous posts about him?
LOL
If you notice at first I was looking for advice as to what to do about a girl I suspect to be a girl who uses guys The topic was pushed off to "I bet you're jealous" by other people.
The rest is just me ranting about the fact that I wish people who just be honest instead of making up a ton of lies for no reason to cover up something that's not there.
As for the librarian recomending it it's
Ender's Game which was published in 1985.
No one else I know has read the book besides her, and my 29 year old brother who read it like 15 years ago and recomended it to me. It's not exactly something a librarian suggests to a teenage girl. No, I'm pretty sure she was just blatantly lieing in an attempt to bother me and it worked

... Do you have ANY IDEA how popular Ender's Game is? Pretty much anyone who knows what sci-fi books are has read it. >.>

Yeah man, my librarian recommended it actually.

TEENAGE GIRL
Also I remember seeing her with the book like 2 days after I recomended it.
Then
Me: hey you're reading that book I recomended
Her: Yeah it's great!

You really are being crazy. Seriously. She read a book. You're reading wayyy too much into this. And why can't teenage girls (especially weeaboos) be interested by sci-fi?!

I've read most of Asimov's works, and most of the stuff by Jules Verne. I've read more short stories than I could name.
I haven't read Ender's Game.

Now you're just being plain sexist. No wonder she won't date you. <.<

We were required to read it in 9th grade. I think it's a great book and series.
On topic:
Get over it.
Win by luck, lose by skill.
She's never going to be into you if you're such a sexist dick all the time. Maybe if you didn't smother her and call her out all the time, she'd be comfortable enough to give you a shot. Here's the deal, man: You probably lost your chance. Sucks, but get over it.
On the bright side, if you need pointers on how to attract and properly date women, I'll gladly help you out.
