Tanks...Hmm...PUMPKIN SCISSORS PARODY MAP INCOMING.
Or I can just make an Advance War map that focuses on tanks

Methinks Sacrieur is just trying to get my address O.o

Let me show you how to hump without making love.
This theme is gonna be hard to do O.o
Really? I think it has a lot of possibility...it's not like tanks are a rare thing to have a game about, after all.
Whether or not I can find any free time between now and the 9th, though, is another matter entirely...I have to agree, themes are best when it leaves a gap for your creativity.
None.
If this were sc2 I had a few ideas for a campaign I planned to attempt with tanks. I can see a lot of potential fun with the concept. Especially since I grew up with Battle Tanx.
With BW, they'd be impossible without modding and even then very difficult.
Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

I used an edited definition of merriam webster's definition of tank. That's not important, what's important is why I edited the definition.

Whether or not I can find any free time between now and the 9th, though, is another matter entirely...We judge quality over quantity. Week long contests are as much about time management as design and knowledge. While the omega rank is very stellar, it's likely going to require 25+ hours of work to achieve. Pick a reasonable score you want to achieve and work toward it. Let's face it, perfects are hard to achieve, but very goods are not. Say, "I want to get a 25 on aesthetics." That's not too hard to achieve with 2-4 hours of work.
I'd probably enter except for being sick as a dog right now
Don't worry, there will be future Rampage contests.

sc2 would be an interesting prospect, but sc2 mapping is still in its infancy, and isn't quite ready for something like Rampage.

SCII isn't worth your time.
Tank Attack. It's an arcade style shooter game >.>
Edit: fixed life display.

Final submissions should be sent to SENRampage@gmail.com. Revisions, time permitting, are allowed.
EDIT:
Is the reaver supposed to be unbeatable? D=

None.
It's not unbeatable; you're supposed to kill the shuttle. I think I set it to have 60 life.
None.
Uhm. How do you move up? There's no directions for moving up and the tank is hostile (as in, I can't move it up). Also, the first shot kills the tank and moves it backwards, while all other shots just go up like they're supposed to (or like I assume they're supposed to).
Not good at reading directions I see. The tank is controlled by building units at the barracks.
None.
And you can go left (Firebat), right (Ghost), or shoot (Marine).
So let's try this again.
How do you go up?
The tank moves up on its own.
EDIT:
Just realized what the problem is.
Game doesn't work unless you play it on bnet.
None.
I would suggest that all maps be played on bnet unless otherwise noted
Edit: On "Fastest" also.

Emm yes, judges should play maps on fastest on b.net unless otherwise specified.
