I didn't abstain, I just haven't voted. I also cannot vote for myself even if I wanted to, which I do.

The mafia dons don't know who the other mafia members are. So if I was in one of the mafia groups it wouldn't be in the other ones best interest to elect me

I am going to assume the two Mafia teams are already working together. It would make sense for the dons to have made an arrangement where they're helping each other rather than wiping each other out. The fact that both dons voted for the same person to be Mayor shows that this is probably the case, that they are on the same page.

We should assume we're up against a single Mafia group of 6 members that are coordinating their efforts.

I change my vote to Roy.

There is no confusion, they are definitely helping each other if they have any sense. They can't both win, but neither of them can win if they're dead, and the Mafia are the ones who will kill the most people. In other words, each side is the other one's biggest threat, it makes sense for them to cooperate to eliminate the Town instead.

Over the course of the game, through clues and lynchings and the Boondock Saint, it is almost guaranteed that one of the Mafia families will lose members, and possibly be wiped out. Until then, the two sides are better off working together.


Roy starts to lose and a confirmed Mafia changes his vote to him? Hmm.

If Roy is Mafia then I'm still losing the election, because LoTuS can vote for him, and Roy can change his vote off me.

OK guys, time for some pro analysis.

Lotus and angelspirit are both known mafia. They have both voted for wing zero. This pretty much guarantees that wing zero is not angelspirit's mafia. However, the time when lotus started voting wingzero implies that lotus organized his mafia to bandwagon wingzero, to tip the scales to his side. This means wing zero is likely mafia. Now, either azrael.wrath or roy will be one of angelspirit's mafia. We know this because angelspirit will NOT vote for one of his own early on, for fear of having suspicion fall on him. However, his other mafia have no such compunction. They will have bandwagonned one of their own: roy, or azraelwrath.

Angelspirit then changed his vote to roy. Wingzero also votes roy; now, this means one of two things: roy is mafia with wing and wing is trying to swing the vote, or the mafia's are working together and will now try to swing the vote to roy.

Now, I don't especially like AW's style of play, but logic leads me to think out of wing, roy, and azrael, azrael is most likely to be town. HOWEVER, I'm keeping my vote on riney cuz I think that he'd make a good mayor ;0

Azrael makes a good point; if roy changes his vote to himself roy is mafia. However, now that I've said this he probably won't, but will instead change it to someone besides azw and himself. If he is not mafia or is mafia with azw, he'll keep his vote on azw. VE VILL SEE

Well, the mafia colluding is the most optimal strategy at this point. Otherwise they kill each other and reach nash equilibrium
