GuiltAny tips on removing it? I've so far been able to dull the majority of my emotions successfully. Guilt (maybe because I don't deal with it enough) is another case. I still get the feelings of guilt, even if I do something that the person deserved and with fore-warning. Guilt's an emotion that may bias important decisions in the future, and I need it ridden of if I am to be the person I want to be.
Happiness Another thing that can cause bias. Sure, I personally like happiness, but that in itself is biased, and it should be removed. And no, I don't mean I want to be unhappy, I want to be as neutral as I can.

Learn2Logic? :\ I mean, honestly, the only thing that could make you so numb to emotion is to logically validate everything you do.
Your desire to remove all biases is a result of bias against bias.

This, all the way.
Btw, I wonder what you were thinking when you made this thread.

... Gahahahahaha.
Why the hell would you want to remove emotions?

My guess is that he saw
Equilibrium and wants to be a Monk like Christian Bale :3.

That's terrible. I swear you cannot live without emotion. That movie has so many loopholes its ridiculous. The 'father' guy raises his voice when he is giving a speech; doesn't that mean that he's feeling excitement?
No, it's not due to some movie. Never even heard of that one, tbh. I just find emotions quite pointless.

You honestly cannot live without emotion. Everything you do involves emotion. What are you going to do, sit around all day and just stare off into space? That's really all you can do without emotion.
Well, the more emotions I remove, the easier it will be to die.

Live your life, and you won't have any regrets. Death will come and you will be glad your life had so much spices. Take it easy. Get involved in something. Get out with your friends. Watch a movie. Sleep earlier.
Choices are always going to be bound to bias though, as in there is definitely more than one way to achieve what you want, knowing whats correct, right, justified, or acceptable (Be it by law, or human nature), will always bias your opinion to the most favorable result. Nobody is stopping you from going into your neighbors lawn and taking a piss all over it, up until you realize theres reasons why normal people dont. You will achieve your goal of emptying your bladder, but you'll also more than likely piss someone off and end up in jail. Hence a biased decision.
And then happiness. Lets not get started on why the human needs some often to function correctly. Depression strikes an non entertained human when they've been brought up in a society such as our own. Not getting at least a small amount in short periods of time, whether it be from company of friends, laughing at a comedy, marveling at your success, or enjoying a good book, movie, or video game, you're going to start to feel rather down which leads to anything from getting tired faster than normal, to sleep deprivation.
The human body also thrives on Love, which can also attribute to happiness. Dont get me started on that subject though.

Emotion is derived from the brain. You know what to do.

Love doesn't really exist in the way most humans perceive it. I've easily discarded such a thing. That's one thing I'm sure I can live without.
Regardless, we're straying from the topic. I'm not asking if it's a good idea or not, I'm sure it's logically not (guess I'm illogical). I just wanna know how I'd be able to dull the emotions as much as I can. Removing them completely is likely impossible.

How do you always find the right website to respond to a topic with??

From inner joy and self-esteem to outer success and romance, all change begins from deep inside you.
Somehow this doesn't feel like it'd serve the purpose.
