I've been banned for "bashing," whatever that is. Awesome.

Bashing is when you attack 1 planet more then 6? times in a 24 hour span. I've been banned for that also, even though I haven't attacked anyone in a while..

If they're going to ban someone for this they should instead just make it impossible to. I'm sure if you PM an Ogame moderator, explaining that you were oblivious to the rule they'll remove the ban.

It takes me 2 and a half hours to attack someone and have my fleet return. In order to attack the same person 6 times in one day, that would take me around 15 hours (and that would mean I immediately send my fleets back out as soon as they get back). I may have accidentally done that in the past, but I can't remember ever attacking someone that many times in a day. I also find it funny that I could get banned for that considering earlier in the week my entire fleet was destroyed for the second time, and I've been slowly rebuilding up my ships based mostly on my own resources than raids.

That's so stupid.

I submitted a ticket to them asking about it, so hopefully it will be lifted. I'll try to be more conscious of my inactive raiding, I guess.

Yeah, but I'd rather it be lifted now rather than 3 days from now. I was scouted by the guy who killed all my stuff twice earlier and will probably be attacked soon.

Took my first colony Hoping to use it primarily as a mine.

@Devlin: Yeah, bashing is attacking a planet or moon owned by a player 6 times within 24 hours. Using a probe to espionage does not count as an attack, but I think (and I'm not 100%) that if you attack with a probe to test defences/create a debris field, it IS counted as an attack. On another note, I don't think interplanetary missile attacks count towards the bashing rule either.

@Kaias: The reason it is not outright disabled, is because you are allowed to 'bash' people during alliance wars, provided you are both members of the alliances who are at war.

Had my first battle today! Some dude attacked me with 3 ships so I counterattacked blindly with everything I had and won handily Only got like 250 of each resource though. And I don't have a recycler

Then it should be impossible to do unless you're in an alliance war. It's silly to expect people to just know rules like this and I can't imagine it'd be difficult at all to implement.

Pretty sure you're untargettable if you're banned. Might be wrong though. What's your co-ordinates I'll check.

Thank the lord. The dude who kicked my ass twice sent probes to my planets a few hours before I was banned.

What the fuck? They come off as some massively pompous assholes that don't have any fucking regard for people being unaware of the rules.

What do you expect? they started off as a two German students who are now extremely rich. Gameforge AG employs over 500 people and offer 20 games in over 50 languages... over 200 million registered players... What did you pay to play ogame? Nothing. So why should they give a toss about what you think of them. Game Operators are probably paid minimum wage, and probably receive hundreds of messages like DevliNs' every week.

Not only that, but they've turned a blind eye to me getting attacked on my next colony 9 times in a row.
