Looks like the achievements for The Passing have been released just a few minutes ago.
They are all sadly easy with maybe the exception of Wedding Crasher which requires you, as the Charger, to grab a Survivor and crash them through 8 chairs at the wedding.
Later online versus mode runs of The Passing will probably find the human players avoiding the wedding, or they might end up hiding in a corner. I see it best to get this one close to the DLC's release when people are still fairly new to the campaign. I do not know, I might just be over reacting to an easy achievement.
They're all easy. The wedding area is crowded with chairs that is parallel to each other, all of which are facing the direction where the bride is at (The WItch). The chairs are not spread out at all. There's no way to avoid the wedding, but you can go around the chairs.

If only L4d1 had defib! the Wedding crasher is difficult to get because people just go through witch with shotgun and do not stay in that area for very long. The realism versus sucks at the scavenge part in the passing.
There's something I don't understand the logic of defibrillators. They are used to awaken unconscious people, and can be used infinitely until it runs out of batteries. In L4D2, you just use it once and on dead people. Personally, I don't like defibrillators in Left 4 Dead, and closets are better. Realism versus is just not fun at all, especially if smokers and jockeys are taking a survivor away (You literally need a mic and describe the place where you're at, I saved one guy blocks away during the Port (Aka the "scavenge part"), especially when it's raining and foggy. I played against two L4D2 Dev guys and even they didn't win.
This may be me just being nitpicky, but the footlockers is full of infinite pipe bombs, Molotov cocktails, pain pills, adrenaline, and bile bombs (Which I never saw as of yet). There are times where survivors can have 99 health, throw pipe bombs to rid constant hordes, use Molotov cocktails to burn a pathway to stop special infected coming from behind or light a tank right away, use adrenaline to fast travel and get another in doing so. But it is not present in versus for balance purposes, which is good. Also, the Left 4 Dead 1 survivors are always at a distance. Zoey and Francis are inside a building that has a sealed off door. Too bad not even playable. As much as they are present, it also seems they are randomly placed at a bridge which no explanation other than Bill sacrificing his life.
I do like the graffiti in the bar where it obviously refers to movies such as 28 days later and games such as Plants vs Zombies and Dead Rising.
I'm hoping next week's mutation is better. (Without spoiling myself by checking the files in the PC)

I honestly had a blast with the Realism Versus! It takes a lot of teamwork, but I find that as a plus unless your team is rude, obnoxious, or immature. I can then see why you would hate it.

"Zombies are too fast" That just sets me in the mood for Dead Rising 2. It looks like it will have a better story-line, but I am going to miss Frank West's overly-average personality.
Really? That is different coming from you. Usually you complain about difficulty. I played Chainsaw Massacre all day yesterday on expert, and it was still easy.
I think my favorite mutation was last week's Last Man on Earth. Nothing like a little one on one with the Specials. To make it more interesting, I mainly used melee weapons lest it was truly necessary to use guns (e.g. about to be smoked).

Playing Chainsaw Massacre on expert with friends that are assholes is funny, though.
You would not think so, but the pistols do an extreme amount of damage to you as opposed to what you think a chainsaw would do. After learning this, my friends and I came up with a game of our own. One guy would have double pistols, and he waits at the start of a level while the rest of the team needs to put as much ground as they can between them and him. After the one wielding the pistols counts to the agreed amount of time, he comes after the other three survivors for blood.
Playing last man on Earth is kinda scary, because you have to rely on your instincts always, there isn't bots who will tell you that a hunter or a charger is nearby. One time inside Hard Rain in last man on Earth, a charger rammed me during the start scene, so I survived for 3 seconds XD
The trailer looks awesome. It's good to know that it will appear in both Left 4 Dead games, yet unfortunate that Xbox 360 players pay the price... each individually. Regardless, it should be fun.
Oh hey, since this is free for me AND for Left 4 Dead 1 as well, I'll entirely be getting this. W00t, the free new campaign content long after release that they promised!
I feel it is kinda cheap how it is both for l4d and l4d2.
I think this was the best part of it. After all Valve did promise to keep making updates for L4D, and by making the same update for both games they keep every L4D-series owner happy. If they were to make seperate updates for each game, you'd have to wait twice as long for a new one for the game you own (assuming you only own one of them).
Anyone wanna play on PC? I finally bought L4D2 during the Steam sale yesterday. I hadn't been impressed with the demo AT ALL so I never bought it and loved it for many hundred hours like the original, but now's my chance!
Cold Stream (along with every L4D1 campaign) is now available for both the Computer and Xbox 360. Xbox users will have to pay a price of 560MSP (7USD) while PC or Mac users can download it free of charge. There are no new achievements to obtain.
A patch was also released along side this DLC. Owners of the Passing campaign can now play any Mutation game-type they wish.
In other new, a Linux version of the game is said to be released later this year*.
Yeah I'm not a big fan of Westernhagen either, Fanta vier much better! But they didn't drop the lyrics that fit the situation. Farty: Ich bin wieder hier; nobody: in meinem Revier; Me: war nie wirklich weg
