None.
The SCV at the beginning allows you to input codes that customize the game.
Although a lot of features may be considered as "customization", those features should be omnipresent, essential and offer several viable options to the player. A system that allows the players to select the difficulty or the mode of a game at the beginning, alone, is not enough.
You won't get many points for theme but at least, it isn't a joke entry.
I don't think such maps should be disqualified if a minimum amount of effort was put into their making. However, I don't feel strongly for either side.

I thought the point of the theme was to prevent people from using maps they already have done. Why even have a theme then? The "minimum amount of effort" should include adherence to the theme that's in massively large letters and the banner image on the front page. I don't see any reason why someone would ignore it, nor should they be allowed to.
If they get 0 in Theme, then give them a score, just don't include it in the overall scoreboard or give minerals for it. This way people won't be motivated to submit shit that's totally unrelated to the contest just for the mineral reward.
I'm not referring specifically to Leeroy's entry, since there's apparently a game-altering code input at the beginning (didn't test it, but I assume it's there). This is just something that should be included in the rules from now on.

Remember that one time when Cecil was found to have started a map before the contest and they let him enter it anyways? Yeah. gg.

Looks like I have some judging to do..
I love seeing new SC maps, especially with creativity and customization.. lets see what you can do with this guys.
None.
I'm looking forwards (well, mostly dreading, but there
is some looking forwards in there, I promise) to seeing how the results turn out!
I haven't had a massive amount of time to work on updating S!U, but I
have managed to put it through a couple of further revisions. See the thread (link above) for changelog and to get the latest file.
EDIT: Latest version is now "1.1". I strongly recommend this update to anyone interested in playing the map, as it greatly improves the map's performance (as well as having several other changes).

What's the progress on judging?
I finished mine for quite some time, Eteft said he would finish them soon and I think (?) that Unholy is finished. All in all, you don't need to worry, we haven't forgotten about you and the reviews should be made available pretty soon.
In light of this, it would be reasonable to think that the next contest should appear soon as well and, from what Unholy has told us, it should be pretty great

None.
So are we pretending everything is running smoothly and that this didn't take 1month+ to judge?
None.
Free minerals becuase Az is probaly the only one who enters anymore meaning if there only 3 people entering then i can enter a crappy map and still get minerals ... WIN
None.
We will probably never get our minerals
None.
http://www.staredit.net/?p=store&area=logsI have given minerals to the winners of the contests up until week 5. I did not give minerals for week 5 because of how long it took to get the reviews in and I don't even know who won. The OP in this thread sasy "(not yet rated)" still. So yes, the winners will receive their minerals considering I've been giving them out in the past...
EDIT:
Also, I'm not going to award you minerals for entering a contest you are a judge for. I'll most likely end up giving Az the first place mineral amount simply because he's the only non-judge who entered.
EDIT2:
Minerals sent to Azrael.

I have given minerals to the winners of the contests up until week 5.
How about some minerals for Week #2 then?
Thanks

Minerals weren't offered as a reward for weeks 1 and 2.

Minerals weren't offered as a reward for weeks 1 and 2.
We could consider the mineral prizes to be retroactively applied to contests held before their introduction
Still looking forward to the next contest by the way. To the judges, please remember to add this to the rules:
Any map that receives a score of 0 in the Theme category will be disqualified from judging and mineral prizes.
This will stop people from randomly submitting some random map they've previously made just to claim a prize or make their win stats look better (unless they've made a map that just happens to fit the theme, but at least there's a good chance of stopping this). Hell, the way it is now, you can submit a totally blank map and get second place. These kinds of behaviors shouldn't be encouraged, and definitely not rewarded.
Hopefully there will be a next contest, though I feel like all the delays with judging have discouraged people from participating.
Before that, though, are there going to be results from week 6?
None.

Even though I would've won by default even if I wasn't a judge. LOL, whatever dude...
None.
And then you would have earned minerals since you wouldn't have been a judge.
